Appears impassive and reserved on first impressions.
She sports a short, messy pixie cut. She rarely actually bothers to style her hair, spare the occasional bow or hair clip for convenience, to keep her bangs out of her face.
Wide shoulders. She often wears shoulder pads or wide puff sleeves to compliment this feature.
Typically wears blue, purple, pink, black or white. Generally avoids the color maroon. Prefers wearing modest, calf-length dresses and/or uniforms. Almost always wears boots.

Life Story & Plot Hooks​

Freya was born in Tirgunn, but was raised in the further privacy of a farm in the Regalian countryside by her father, who only hoped to grant his daughter a more peaceful childhood than she ever would have had back in Tirgunn's turbulent environment.

Growing up, Freya was a well behaved and reserved child; always early to rise and early to bed, always committed to studying any book she could get her hands on, and always helping her father around the farm or going into the neighboring town to help her aunt and uncle at their shop. With no children her age to play with and so much work to do every day, she simply never had the time to get into trouble.

But as many her age so often do, Freya found herself wishful for greater horizons. Helpful as she was at home, the tales of heroic knights, valiant soldiers and revered saviors her father told her growing up led her to a fantasy of grandeur and a naive hope to make her family proud. So at fifteen, she took off and joined the Regalian Military in an endeavor to accomplish exactly that.

A terrible time to join the fray it was though, because Regalia immediately found itself entrenched in several conflicts in quick succession of each other; The Bone Horror Crisis, the Deathling Occupation, the Return of the Dragons, the Second Elven War, the Dread War, the Clicker Crisis, the Vampire Insurrection and every little thing in between took its toll on the once bright eyed soldier.

At twenty-four, shortly after the Vampire Insurrection, she was indefinitely dismissed from Military service with a marred face and broken pride. Freya did not take this development very well, and struggled tooth and nail against her own rehabilitation. She was filled with too much shame to return home and face her family, and in place of the girl she once was stood a woman scorned.

When life finally did return to something resembling normality- spare the brewing internal crisis Freya persistently ignored- the dear friend who cared for her until she was fit again offered her informal training and work as a housekeeper to keep her mind focused and sharp. Freya ultimately accepted this offer.

Now, Freya takes contracts as a handmaiden, doctor and guard all-in-one, using the opportunities presented to her to make a more comfortable living while she continues to reacclimate to current life in the city, restless though she may be.​
