• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I was going around Ellador and looting when I found my first homestead on the Server. It's a poorly built and heavily griefed castle however it was still my first home. Even the table I built survived"

So I want to know. Where was your first home on the server? Not necessarily faction but home. Is it still around? What was it like? Share screenshots if you want

My first real home on massive was Voidgate that was in the mountains in the far north east of Ithania.
I was new to the whole minecraft scene and had no clue what the game was about, It was also the place I did my first big build which still survives today (minus the lava) :). Sadly Voidgate was completely removed.

The memories there were awesome.

Just a little bit west of Daenshore in Deandroc There is a poorly made cobble house (IDK who built it) that I stayed in for about 3 weeks before I joined Atheria. I found a shaft hidden under the floor which I took down into someones old mine. I set up a little room for myself down there and that is where I lived while figuring the ins and outs of the server and MC Factions.

Also just a little bit further west I found an old abandoned fac that had been owned by a faction called Shadow something or other that was completely closed off at the top and very dark on the inside. I covered all the windows and killed every source of light and this was my first darkroom. After just checking Dynmap I see a faction named Astronite has claimed over it. I wonder if my complex set of tunnels I dug under the faction so I could get to different safehouses within the faction to protect me from the craziness of Massivemobs is still there... I think a trip to Daendroc is in order. xD

My first home was in a faction called Vrovona in Ithania and it was owned by @Enderdonut . I miss this snowy fortress. T.T

Oh my. I remember my first home. It was in the fledgling town/faction of Persepolis.
I think It's part of Aquatine now @Goldy28
Anyways, the Original town is in the Red, My house in the blue.
I loved Persepolis, though the leaders left something to be desired. After having a dispute with Grailen16 and SamuraiMugen about the fact that they built a farm right under my house, Obstructing the view, disabling my ability to own a basement (Which was supposed to come with my house), and demanding I pay extra to have a different house, I took my inventory of cookies, and ran across the bridge away into the wild, as Grailen16's fire arrows soared over my head. Majestic.

*edit* I also remember that all the boss mobs, or whatever the insanely powerful ones were from massive mobs, would spawn on the opposite end of the bridge, and we would have battles with them. Whenever you crossed the bridge, you got the feeling that you were in a true untamed wilderness, and it scared the heck out of me (I was as noob as it gets at the time).

I first came to Ithania 1 years and 7 months ago after I gave up finding the way out of the Ellador spawn area xD
I was looking for a free space and eventually found a nice lake I could build a cute house at.

I almost starved to death on my travels, but for some reason I found a completely random carrot farm in the wilderness, saying something along the lines of "For new players, please replant!". It basically saved my life, and then I started growing the carrots ontop of my house.

Later, I brought two friends there who I met in Regalia while exploring the sewers, and we started building the tower but never came to an end, due to reasons I forgot. I also remember once stumbling into the Magnanimous base through a basement of one of the houses outside, before I knew anything about the faction. When I saw someone inside, I immediately chickened out with my chain armor. I also occasionally passed by some people in the village south of there. The place was pretty active.

My very first home was in Ceardia, which is obviously gone now. Let me tell you, I am a terrible builder as I am right now. And therefore I was 21083x worse back then. To describe it, since I have no pictures, it was made out of like, cobble and nether brick and had two floors, one bed, and a basement filled with baby chickens. Baby ones only.

I've been in White Roses, now known as the Blood Roses, my entire time here. I don't ever plan on leaving. I have lived in the house with the tower on it the entire time. XSacrificeXzb built it, but he's not on the server anymore.

I don't think I even have screenshots of my little hobbit hole outside of VSTC's town of Ventari, in Old Ceardia way back when the map wasn't a massive pile of grief to the point of deletion. I even remember when the map was expanded xD

The first home that was in a faction I specifically created was Old Osai Town:

God my building skills haven't improved much have they? xD

These stories make me feel nostalgic, I like them :)

My first home that I actually remember and can point out is in Daendroc (If I remember right it was north of Daendroc spawn, but it's hard to say, probably 1k blocks from spawn maximum). I was there on the release day of Daendroc with my sister, Sgt_49er_Miner, and we snuck into a cave, started hunting for ore and setup a makeshift house inside with a wall to prevent creepers from sneaking up and killing us. And then suddenly, out of nowhere, Laura Redblock appears in the flesh! That made my week, it was so cool to actually meet a person in the lore that was that famous when I was still a complete noob.

My first ever EVER home that I can kind of remember was in Ceardia, that one old world that wasn't made using WorldPainter, only the normal Minecraft generation techniques (Daendroc was so cool because the mesas and huge flat areas and trees were so different from everything else I'd ever encountered in Minecraft). It was a town with about 30 people in the faction, a castle upon a mountain with a palace inside the mountain, and it was epic to someone that had just started playing Minecraft. I even got my first set of diamond armor there, which to me at the time was a huge deal. In present times, though, you could probably burn a stack of diamond blocks in front of my face and I might barely flinch... How times have changed.

My first home was half of an apartment block in Old Roma on Daendroc. Before I joined 9thLegion about two years ago, I mostly went on resource gathering expeditions out of the old spawn of Ceardia to varying degrees of success.

As you can see, most of it is still there.

I lived in what was basically a hobbit hole I dug for myself by the Northern Ceardian boat, right next to an old a 9th Legion base until Ceardia was going to be deleted and so I moved to Ellador.

My first home was in New or Old Ceardia (I can't remember don't judge). It was a hole in the side of a hill, which was 100% pure dirt, where I spent my first nooby week in. (I moved to a hole in the ground with @kat512 later.) This house consisted of a bed, crafting table, furnace, and probably a chest. No door, I'd just block it up with some nice dirt. I only lived in it for about a week.

Sadly, no screenshots were saved of these homes.

I must clarify that it was infact snow (that detail is immmmpooooorrrttaannnnnttt) ... We were in a tiny base on the outskirts of a somewhat impressive faction. Still have no idea what we were planning to do later on.
