A copy of this letter is delivered to /all/ Noble Estates, including Vassal Houses, and a public letter is also pinned to a public board.

It has come to the attention of gathered Princes of the Palace, that a recent communique was released with the intention of coming off as if presented by the Emperor, written and signed by the Ekhein. The Palace however strictly denies sending any letter, and communication from the Emperor to the Peerage, or indeed the Ekhein, would have been rendered impossible, as the Emperor and Ekhein have been absent on state-visit to the Songaskian Masaya for over a week, something indicated to House Petrou and House Azcoissia before this supposed letter was sent during a Palace meeting.

Indeed, the Princes pray that, with the faculties provided by the education system and birth of greater pedigree and purpose, the Nobility would have come to the conclusion that this supposed letter could not possibly have come from the Emperor. After all, the impersonator made one crucial mistake: The Emperor always uses the "Royal" We and Us, never I, or Me. Furthermore, the Emperor speaks with a certain vague prose, never to state untruths so literally and disagreeably, such as for example stating that we are experiencing unprecedented wealth, when indeed we are not.

It is the opinion of the Princes that this was an act of intended politics. Prince Dominic further elaborates that politics in his perception, takes three forms. Deceit, Framing, or Stupidity. Deceit with the intent for the Alms Ministry to acquire undue funds, Framing with the intent to do ill on the reputation of Duchess Sorenvik, or Stupidity with the intent to aid the Alms Ministry in unrighteous manners. The Princes have tacitly agreed that the likelihood of the Duchess Sorenvik to be so brazen and oblique as to use the Emperor's name to blackmail the Nobility into contributing wealth, is highly unlikely. After all, the Duchess Sorenvik has proved quite capable of hosting her own fund-raising, and being quite capable of assuring the necessary means to her ends. The matter of Impersonating the Emperor has been delivered to the Violet Order, who will investigate based on their own leads.

To close the matter finally, while the College of Princes may disagree, and at times seem contradictory in its approach or conflicted in its treatment of the Crown's word and the Peerage, the Emperor is never so. The Emperor does not threaten, as His Imperial Holiness has always aimed to rule with the consent of the Nobility. He painstakingly ensures that his ethical conduct has always been in line with the greater good for all of Regalia's citizens, and to rule by compromise and agreeability, not by threat and coercion. The Emperor would never stand for a threat for consequences issued by the Court. That being said, let this letter not dissuade any good Noble from alleviating their consciousness or duty to the plight of the poor from donating their funds. If any were resolved in their hearts to make a positive contribution to the Alms Ministry by the false letter, do not let its debasement dissuade anyone. The fact of the matter is that despite the letter being a fraud, the plight of the poor is not, and so we leave the matter of donating to the Alms Ministry to the good conscious of the Nobility.

The letter is signed by the 9th Prince Dominic, 10th Prince Cedromar, Titular Princess Shelia-Manon, 3rd Princess Amalia, Titular Prince Willem-Friso, and Titular Prince Francis, dictated to a Palace Ekhein in service of the College of Princes.

Xabi de Solacia approached the local board under the concealment of an old and tattered green cloak. His footsteps left shallow imprints on the gravelly ground as he walked, taking careful glances over both of his shoulders. The rogue closed the distanced between himself and the board, gluing his gaze to the publication. Nimble hands delve into the satchel at his side, flopping its cover open to reveal an assortment of pens, documents, folders, calligraphy tools, and other such paraphernalia. From these contents he retrieved a parchment, some utensils to write with, and other materials he'd need. Using the very board as a hard surface, he began to jot, write, and illustrate, producing professional copies of the signatures found at the bottom of the publication, as well as certain details about the document itself.

Several citizens a half asha Celate Nobleman included 100% see this man just committing this to memory and making copies. Oh how utterly suspicious it all is perhaps a thing they shall all remember later. (Just a little reminder Kibba but I 100% commend your plan. A good one :) )
