• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hey all! Happy New Year!!
Just wondering if the Ellador and Daendroc Dynmaps will go down with the worlds. If they stay that's great, but if they don't I was wondering if there was a possible download for the worlds and or dynmaps. Usually that wouldn't be allowed but since they will be gone forever idk. I just like exploring the ruins or looking at it from an aerial view.
Thanks,

Oh a final Dynmap would be absolutely wonderful to keep.

But @Araqueue the Dynmap will fall with the world. Since the world wouldn't exist anymore... The Dynmap would have nothing to load... Since it is semi-live

I removed Ellador and Daendroc today. The dynmaps were removed as well.

From a technology perspective it would have been possible to keep the dynmaps even after removing the maps ingame. However the hole point with this map removal is to create space for new maps to be added. The dynmap world list is long enough to start scrolling as is. It would also be confusing for new players to see online maps that don't exist ingame.

I'll personally miss these maps for a while but we have the skill to make much better maps nowadays. Rather than being nostalgic I prefer being excited about the future :).

Players have previously asked to download world maps. The answer will sadly have to remain no. For bandwidth reasons we can not offer such huge downloads.
