• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Does Anyone Remember Using This? :-)

I found a nice little piece of history from a bit over a year ago using the mystical powers of the Wayback Machine. image.jpg

If the quality is absolutely terrible and you have no idea what that that is (if it's impossible to read tell me and I'll get a screenshot from a computer; I took this one on an iPod) it's a screenshot of the Massivecraft homepage back in mid-2011. The header is suggesting players to use the SpoutCraft launcher. If you've never heard of it, you can use the Wayback Machine to go read about it on the Massivecraft website's Download page in 2011.

I hated when you had to use SpoutCraft just to get all of the vampire abilities, like Bloodlust, back in the day...

I remember when it was very highly recommended that everyone downloaded SpoutCraft :P
It was actually pretty cool until it stopped updating.

omg, all i remmeber from spoutcraft was when there'd be like huge events and stuff and the server was full, i'd tell my prem friends to throw flint in a huge crowd of people so they'd crash and i'd log on <3

ooooh it was great

I always loved Spoutcraft at first, because I was a huge noob and didn't know how to install any of the cool mods that it came with.

The most memorable thing about it for me was the faction names over peoples heads.

I also remember getting my own personal computer about a year ago, downloading spout as fast as I could (I was using my grandma's computer on an every-other-week basis before), logging on, crashing repeatedly, and then being told Massive didn't support it anymore. XD

I remember that page! :D But, I can't believe I was a vampire for ages back then without being able to use any of the good abilities because I didn't know how to install spout craft. :P

Haven't been a vamp for a long time now though

Oh Spoutcraft... I remember all the commotion that was made when you stopped updating.

I can't pretend not to miss being able to push a single button and suddenly be able to jump around like a crazy person. Ah hotkeys, those were the days.
