• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

So, assuming that the purpose of CoK is to introduce roleplay into factions and allow factions to influence Regalian lore, I think that it is important for the bridge to go both ways. Regalia should be allowed to effect the CoK event just like CoK factions are theoretically supposed to influence Regalia roleplay. I suggest adding a diplomacy monthly bonus which is given to one Great House every month/other month/randomly. I suggest it being 2 or maybe maybe 3 points, which would make it a notable source of points but not an over-powered one. This would bring many benefits, including:

IC reasons for Nobility / Regalian governors to meet for assemblies

Encouraging faction leaders to physically RP and convince nobles / governors / RP assemblies to assist them

Giving Roleplayers an impact on, and possibly an introduction to, factions

Encouraging factions to appeal to and recruit RPers, specifically nobility.

I would also like to mention that the bulk of the effort required would come from hosting the actual RP event, which can be dismissed if only the Emperor were to make the decisions. Also, these assemblies / events could be as frequent or as rare as needed, and do not need a specific schedule if announced in advance. However, these efforts are already given to RP, and this would mostly give additional subject-matter to these efforts.

One last thing; I'm not a diehard RPer, so feel free to correct me on anything included here.
