• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I'm assuming you mean in roleplay? The only way players can contribute to lore is with this: https://forums.massivecraft.com/forums/player-writing-prompts.296/

But if you're making up your own weapon in roleplay where we use lore, no.
I suggest this starting out guide if you want to learn more about the server and it's features, but if you want a link to the wiki where our lore is located I'll also leave that below.

P.S. Try Helpchat on the server by typing H: in chat before asking on the forums in the questions section next time.

Typically projectiles other than your standard bow and arrow aren't used in roleplay do to "point shoot and kill" mechanics. Depending on the situation and the confort of the roleplayers you'll see a crossbow every now and again but you need approval of all participating in combat to use it because of the mechanics stated above and it's generally frowned upon to simply to keep a bolt knotched on it 24/7.

For bladed weapons I would try to stick to simple swords, daggers, and generally whatever you would find from early medieval to late renaissance. Hidden blades and other quirky weapons like that are really frowned upon.

If you need help picking out a weapon or a combat style for you character hit me up and I'll be glad to give you some input and critism.
