• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Over a year ago, MonMarty posted his two Q1 Roleplay posts concerning the direction of the server with regards to various subjects. The most significant, at least for the Lore Team, was the announcement of the pursuit to double the number of Cultures on the server to reflect a more complex lore world for the Ailor and broader Human Races, but also a diverse playerbase of various backgrounds who might enjoy to see their home Culture, or at least a fantasy MassiveCraft interpretation of it, available for them to RP.

At last, after many months of work by both player writers and Lore Team members, every proposed Culture has been written, in addition to updates done on all old Cultures in an attempt to bring everything up to date and quality with the current server. Alongside Culture pages, Languages have been extensively expanded upon alongside Consumables, creating a layered level of interconnectedness and further depth to Aloria.

As the longstanding head of this project, I thank everyone who participated in it, either through their writing, or in giving their opinions and in processing the content. I additionally thank those players who have played these Cultures, as it serves as a testament of MassiveCraft's quality and of its complex world ripe for unique interactions likely achieved as a result of your RP. Below will be a full listing of all the Cultures on the server underneath their proper headings, both new and old, with a mention of Languages at the end.
