• Character Sheets are optional on MassiveCraft. You do not need a sheet to play or be whitelisted on our server. You only need a sheet if you plan to engage in roleplay combat.
  • Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Core Concept
  • A gifted sorceress who conveys a cheerful and positive exterior. She is a charming and caring figure, however, it would be erroneous to believe her frolicsome visage makes her naive, for she conceals a stoic and reserved interior garnered from her upbringing and time in the courts of Ithania. Her Lathan birthright steers her towards being a peacemaker and causes her to demonstrate unwavering empathy towards magic-users that are persecuted no matter their race or creed, holding idealistic visions of justice and fairness for mages, often causing her conflict. She is fiercely loyal to those she considers friends, displaying a remarkable selflessness when aiding them even to her own detriment. She is a loose follower of Estelley, but generally apathetic towards religion. However, she is very outspoken against those who want to see mages in chains or put to the sword, as she believes magic to be beneficial to society, not malignant.
Appearance Information
  • She stands at a modest 5'5" and carries a slim-to-toned body build with a slender waist. Her skin bears a warm ivory hue with neutral undertones, accompanied by bountiful freckles smothered across her cheeks and nose and marred by a scar across her left cheek. Her features are sharp, with pronounced cheekbones, a sculpted jawline and diamond-shaped face with a slightly receded chin. She dons locks of wavy copper red hair, tied into a braid which falls in a cascade over her shapely shoulders and down her right side. Her eyes are bright and glisten with a chestnut brown colour and rest beneath her naturally s-shaped brows, which are trimmed and emphasised by long lashes. She exudes a natural fragrance of verbena, carrying an enchanting scent of citrusy lemon zest and subtle herbal whiffs. She adorns Ithanina-style attire, incorporating knee-high boots and along her neck hangs a velvet choker ornamented with an aquamarine gemstone overlaid in silver.

Life Story / Plot Hooks
  • Guardian of Magic |
    • A Mageborn who draws from the Lathan dimension, Corinne attended L'Académie Ancienne de la Étude-Magique in Ithania between 291-299 A.C and has an extensive knowledge of the arcane. Her Starbirth led her to develop a desire to see mages live in peace, showing empathy towards any mage facing persecution purely for their existence alone. Magically inclined characters will find support from Corinne, providing they are not bringing the practice of magic into disrepute.
  • Spawn of Spirit |
    • Although not possessed by a spirit, Corinne's conception was born out of a spirit taking control of her mother. As such, she has a negative predisposition to any and all spirits, regardless of their dimensional alignment, morality or purpose of existence. Mystech will not attain any support from Corinne, though she will not fight them unprovoked.
  • Lanlath in Mind, Ithanian at Heart |
    • Her half-blood status has led Corinne to develop a somewhat idiosyncratic personality from her Ithanian and Lanlath heritage. Her mind is caulked with Lathan ideals of peacekeeping, empathy and ascended knowledge of magic, yet her heart is enamoured with the opulence and extravagance of Ithanian courts. Lanlath and Ithanians alike may find a potential ally in Corinne.
Her mother, Nassissa, was a Lanlath of the Star of Calmness, who had a stoic, altruistic and caring personality. She was an accomplished demon hunter, who often ventured from Lathan to Aloria to help those in need from harmful spirits. Her ability to banish the spirits, alongside her restraint in never requiring a romantic partner, meant she caught the undivided attention of Alta, the spirit sovereign of hedonism. One of Alta's legion was sent to the Ithanian town of Montreuil, where it turned much of the populace into law-breaking and morally deprived individuals, resulting in mass lawlessness and riots, and as anticipated, attracted the attention of Nassissa.

Once she caught wind of the rumours of Montreuil, she made haste to the town where she fought off the spirit and banished it from Aloria. Or so she thought. The spirit was a ruse and the still-influenced mortals of the town falsely rewarded her with an amulet. She refused at first not desiring payment for aiding those in need, but following their intimidating insistence she accepted the gift, refraining from wanting to come across as rude. Dutifully, she remained in the town for several days to ensure no malevolent dimensional essences lingered behind, however unbeknownst to her, the jewellery endowed was imbued with a vested spirit of Alta. Although she did not wear it for immediately, the spirit's influence grew too strong and the continuous whispers penetrated her mind causing her to grow restless and weak, and finally she obeyed the voices and adorned the pendant.

Alta's spirit took a grasp, forcibly enticing Nassissa to act upon her most restrained natural impulses and turning her temporarily into a depraved and lascivious hedonist. Whilst the remainder of the town was freed from Alta's influence, Nassissa began to indulge in pleasure-seeking, forming a relationship with a local Ithanian named Régis, and ultimately grew pregnant from her debauchery. Although the spirit achieved its goal, it did not give up its influence until it was unceremoniously exercised by Nassissa's family who arrived in Ithania following her prolonged absence from Lathan. Once freed from the spirit's talons, Nassissa felt overwhelming embarrassment at her inability to break free from the spirit. She returned to Lathan and shattered the heart of Régis by informing him she never loved him.

Upon her return to Lathan, she was chastened by her failings and scorned by many for siring a bastard under the influence of a spirit. Several months later, she bore the child. A girl. Corinne, born Sovinne, was instantaneously shown the cold shoulder by her family and her mother, for she was an unwanted child of failure and a constant reminder of her mother's inadequacies. As such, Corinne's childhood was fraught with looking out for herself, aided in part by her natural inclination towards the arcane, being able to wield nondescript magics from as young as she can remember. After her childhood and adolescence came to an end, Corinne partook in her coming of age ceremony, entering the Star Chamber where the ambient magics formed the Star of Peace upon the ceiling. Her magic from then onwards has been drawn from the Lathan dimension.

After two decades under the thumb of her family, Corinne felt a burning injustice at being kept in Lathan whilst her relatives all came and went as they pleased. Her yearning to leave was spurred on after hearing the tales of the persecution of mages across Aloria, developing a desire to go and aid them and bring about a utopia where mages could live in peace. Despite obedience to one's family being a must in Lanlath households, Corinne actively disobeyed her family head's, in her view unreasonable, request to remain in Lathan and departed to Ithania via the dimensional gateways, and has never returned since. Arriving in a new land and a new world, Corinne was at a loss and set forth for the only place she'd ever heard of in Aloria - Montreuil.

Following weeks of travel, Corinne wound up in the town and asked around for a man by the name of Régis, and much to her surprise he was extremely easy to locate. Appearing before him, the man praised his luck that Nassissa had returned, but was beyond stupefied when she revealed she was in fact his daughter. Régis was kind and welcoming, but was hardly interesting nor intellectual, spending his days grooming and parading himself through the town for the attention and titillation of women. Alas, Corinne was overcome with disappointment that her father transpired to be nothing more than a dimwitted himbo, now truly believing that her mother must have been possessed into falling in love with him.

Abandoning a future with her father, Corinne stuck around in Ithania and enrolled herself into L'Académie Ancienne de la Étude-Magique. After nearly a decade of studying support and defensive magics, and reading plentiful tomes and manuscripts from the extensive Allorn libraries, she graduated in 299 A.C with first-class honours and was promptly offered a position as a court advisor to a Countess. She spent the subsequent decade mastering the art of political subterfuge and gained an extensive understanding of the modern Ailoran political landscape and geography, hearing many accounts of the trials and tribulations that occurred in the greater Regalian Empire.

Therefore, in her wanderlust, Corinne has travelled to Regalia to use her ascended knowledge of the arcane to guide others towards peace between mages and mundanes who'd see them harmed. She is concerned about the chaos of rogue-magic wielders and wants to keep Aloria safe from their damage, but does not seek for them to be destroyed but instead educated. She wishes to teach those who stray towards sinistral magic to see the benefits of radiant theories and how magic is a blessing to help society, not a weapon to be wielded for personal gain. Until her last breath, she will speak up for the overarching acceptance of magic in public life and the good it can do for the world.
