Valiane woke up in her bed from a strange, green dream, feeling exhausted.
She shook her head lightly and moved her body carefully. Nothing really hurt, except her back a little.
She moved to the bathroom to take a look in the mirror. She looked like a mess and decided to take a shower.
In the living room, she sat down on the couch. There was something nagging in the back of her head but she couldn't put her finger on it. Hoping she would eventually remember it later, she decided to make herself ready before she went outside.
In her bathroom, she checked everything. She noticed something strange.
Her sword didn't glow as soon as she wielded it. Confused, Valiane tried to make it happen by putting the sword down and grabbing it thirty seconds later. Nothing happened. She repeated this three times with no result, and she grew more concerned.
Despite this, she went outside, looking for someone to feed on.
She would find the cause of this later.
Concerned about her abilities, Valiane wandered through the streets with clothes that covered her from the sun.
When she got near the Tavern she decided to use her Shimmering Mask ability. When she made her way towards the Tavern, she noticed there was something off.
People were looking at her in a strange way. Some scared, some suspicious. Eventually, she made eye-contact with a guard.
It didn't feel right. It felt scary. When the guard started to make their way towards her, she quickly stepped back and turned around.
When the guard yelled 'OI', Valiane began to run, as fast as she could to her home.
Hidden in her bathroom, Valiane tried to understand what happened. None of her vampire abilities seemed to work.
Worried that they might never come back, Valiane tried to put the pieces together.
It started tonight, with that strange green dream. The nagging feeling in her head became stronger and Valiane slowly started to understand what happened. She was attacked, but how?
She put her left hand on her right arm and she got that strange feeling of being grabbed.
It felt harsh as if someone forced themselves on her. After a few minutes of thinking, she finally understood what happened:
She was attacked.
When she realized this, everything became clearer and she started to see a connection.
It was like it happened in her head all over again.
She mimicked Marie Peirgarten and got into a conversation with Leufred after she saw him beating a woman...
Then, Leufred suddenly talked about a threat and told her to get out...
Out of all a sudden, the real Marie Peirgarten started to announce something about a tea house...
She started running, hoping she could get away in time, but it was hopeless...
Leufred was, somehow, really fast and eventually knocked her down and got on top of her, grabbing her arms...
The next moment the green light came out of him, causing her to lose stamina and eventually pass out...
After what felt like forever, she woke up on the cold stone, exhausted and scared, and ran to her home...
He attacked an innocent woman... Then he attacked me... took away my powers...and all because of her.
It was her fault... and she will pay the price. They both will...

She had a purpose, something more exciting than torturing people.
And she would not rest until she gets what she wanted...
