• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hey guys.

Allot of folks love to raid, but we cant destroy another faction building. But what if we have special area's/zones for it. And only factions can claim that zone.

When a faction claims that land/chunk(s) they can build a keep/fort/settlement or how you want to call it. Or even pre-made castles made by admins. So we can actualy have sieges instead of these little 4/6 man raids on a faction that we call a war.

The claimed land will not be griefable.

So let's say I claim that pvp land, and another factions wants it they need to capture several points in that land.

Capture points, like castle bridge/gate/ect. And when they have all the capture points I will lose the land and the faction that has won will get the land.

A capture the hill kind of game.

Off course you can still raid faction land itself. Only now the pvp and players are concentrated on these lands. The faction land itself will be the economy to maintain that pvp castle.

Sure we have minigames for that. But i think it would be more awesome to have it in the world itself. So not a seperate warp.

Imagine 20 players defending a keep. And 50 raiders trying to capture it.

Well I think alot of people would be greifted in there and until player rage quit the server or they get Banned for greifing.
 
Why is this in general instead of suggestions? Also, this seems a bit overly complicated.
