The Business Registry, in accordance with the Secretary of Finances' goals for economic growth, is intended for businesses across the Holy City to utilize and prosper from. Businesses listed on the Registry are recognized by the Regalian State, and as such are granted special privileges such as extended financial support, participation in initiatives of the State and the ability to see contracts made between registered businesses enforced by the State. The purpose of the Registry is ultimately to protect Regalian financial interests by holding businesses legally accountable for their dealings while simultaneously promoting their prosperity and growth.
While registering businesses carries no legal obligation, businesses outside of this registry cannot be provided financial assistance by the Secretary for the Finances unless they register with the Bureau of Internal Revenue Enumeration. All businesses, from stall vendors to pub owners, are henceforth encouraged to partake in the Business Registry.
Signing up for the Business Registry is a relatively simple procedure. To be considered as a business entity by the State, applicants must be one of the following types of groups:
- An applicant must be a Guild.
- An applicant must be a Property Owner.
- An applicant must be a Business Owner.
- An applicant must be a Non-Merchant Organization.
- A Non-Merchant Organization is the term applied to organizations not traditionally considered "businesses" but still employs workers or receives financial compensation for work or labor.
Any entity, whether a single person offering a service, an areashop or an organisation can apply to become a part of the business registry. Signing up for the registry requires filling out the form below and posting it on this thread as a reply:
