• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Come one come all, gather round! All ye Knaves an' Brigands, Thieves an' Crooks, the time to make your fortune has come. Join our crew of freed men, and sail the open sky-ways as a Corsair Buccaneer aboard our Airship the Storm Crow. You will be offered rights by the Ships Articles of Conduct, and in these rights you will have equal vote, equal share of loot, and equal share of provisions. Every crew member shall be provided with clothing, and a cutlass or arming sword, and space in which to slumber. Adventure and freedom awaits you dear brother, merely find a man or woman in the colors seen above, and sign aboard.

OOC Information and Policy​
  • This and its picture can be found in the 'Corpse in the Gutter' tavern in the Neath.
  • This is a pirate like crew that functions much as would a sewer gang, the largest difference being that they will operate on land at times, raiding encampments and estates. Format for Player Quests done by the Company must be pre-drafted on a google document, with all parties recorded, and with the permission granted by me, the Captain. We can and will attack the bases of other sewer organizations.
  • We have preference toward experienced players with character applications as officers on the ship, and they will doing all of the actual pirate work during Player Quests which require a player application. We are willing to take on newer players, as we know that is the only way to help grow a better Role-play community, and that they will one day be the experienced players such as we are now.
  • As a member of this Crew I swear not to Meta-game, Puppeteer and/or God-mod less I be removed from such group for a time of at least two weeks.

Articles of Conduct or "Pirates Codex"
​
  1. Every man aboard the ship has an equal vote upon positions of the ship, the man with the most votes wins, voting only occurs when the position is challenged by another man so long as he has Five ready votes. Positions are, in rank, Captain, Master-at-Arms, Boatswain, Quartermaster, Navigator, Surgeon, Gunnery Officer Engineer, The Cook, Swashes, Able Crewman, and Ordinary Crewman.
  2. Everyman in addition to getting equal share in spirits and food, shall receive clothing, medical service, basic armament, and lodging aboard the ship, but must in turn take turn in watches, maintain ship and deck, and keep their weapons sharpened and cleaned.
  3. None shall game for money either with dice or cards.
  4. The lights and candles should be put out at eight at night, and if any of the crew desire to drink after that hour they shall sit upon the open deck without lights.
  5. None shall strike another on board the ship, but every man's quarrel shall be ended on shore by sword in this manner. At the word of command from the quartermaster, each man being previously placed back to back, shall turn and shall take to their cutlasses, and he that draw the first blood shall be declared the victor. If there is no quarrel, then the aggressor is to receive 39 lashes upon bare back.
  6. That Man that shall snap his Arms, or smoke Tobacco in the Hold, without a Cap to his Pipe, or carry a Candle lighted without a Lanthorn, shall suffer the same Punishment as in the former Article.
  7. Captain shall receive 7 shares of treasure from expedition, the Surgeon shall receive 5 shares, the Master-at-Arms, Boatswain, and Quartermaster shall receive 4 shares, the Navigator, Gunnery Officers, Engineers, and the Cook shall receive 3 shares, Swashes receive 2 shares, Able Crewman, and Ordinary Crewman receive 1 share.
  8. No member of the crew may suffer another unto slavery, nor let one remain in the suffering of slavery if found to be in it. For men are not cattle, but are men.
  9. If any Man shall offer to run away, or keep any Secret from the Company, he shall be punished by whatever means the crew finds to be the most appropriate.
  10. If any other should wish to surrender themselves (unarmed of everything but clothing and carefully checked) and then make audience with the Captain, they must simply say, "Parley" and the intent will be understood.
  11. Any Maiar must be sent back to the ocean or kill upon sight.

She is a shadow mage, catser in the two forms available, aswell as being quiet on her feet. She has been known to be familiar with a blade, though shouldn't be depended on this form of combat. She seems to have what she refers to "Balls bigger than the average orc", whatever that means, probably an expression of bravery? She did mercenary work for a period, and hunting.
IC Weaknesses
It would be the lack of morals, and narrow-minded. Don't expect her to be the most energetic, her bones are as ached as an eighty year-old man, give her a bit and she should rev up. She will very often get very cocky, and will almost be intent on one goal, and it is to hurt, this will often result in lack of attention span.
What is your biggest person weakness in your RPing skill
I don't generally find much weakness on my person, but I know I have many. I'll say what I know is. Which is basically trying to drive a roleplay, and involvement. I'm joining the crew to fix that I suppose? You might find tidbits I haven't found in the supposed long time my character participates.

The letter was written surprisingly neatly, the paper was yellow, it was rough, and smelled oddly mildew. There was a few splotches of ink, and was that blood stained on the bottom right? it was written in red

I am Alvah, a cielothar looking for adventure and a purpose on this shit hole we call Aloria. I was a former crew member of Llewellyn's crew, it was short lived and ended up being mauled to a fine powder... Not realistically, but that is what it felt like. I came to join to give the life at sea once again- air? Whatever. Anywho, I heard only briefly, Jakkios I do believe. Captain of the Storm Crow, nice title by the way. Word of warning, my appearance at first glance will, and should, seem fairly off-setting, that I shall say if and when we meet. I am a shadow mage, I do believe you need someone for espionage from time to time, hm? I feel I can be applicable for a place on the ship because I used to be a mercenary, desperate times did call for desperate measures, and sometimes I had to track some people down, can't say I tracked them all down. IC Strengths: She is a positive person, always looking on the brighter side of things when she isn't having an episode. Also, she uses wind magic and is currently at mage level with gusting wind and caster level with Storm Bringer.
IC Weaknesses: Maemi is a schizophrenic and of the paranoid sub type, usually when she is having an episode she will hear the voice in her head or will begin to feel an immense feeling of fright. This causes her to be a possible liability.
What is your biggest person weakness in your RPing skill: I am really nervous when I try to join in on Roleplay that is in session, for example, there is Nobles at the Tavern and my character is a Noble that has to meet with one of them. I'm extremely nervous when I have to walk up and join in to get that person's attention. I could list so many more examples but that isn't fun to read.
