• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Archived Bounty splitting

As most of you know, the server has a bounty plugin installed, although I must say, seldom used. This is because whenever you place a large bounty on someone, they often just have their faction member accept the bounty, go to a warzone, get killed and then split the money. I know that this might take some communication between the writer of the bounty plugin, if it's not open source this might be difficult, but could it be made so that only neutrals and enemies can collect bounties? Of course factions could just enemy and then instantly re-ally, but there are already suggestion threads about this problem, so I won't go into it.

To summarise:
Problem = People let others kill them for their bounties.
Suggested solution = Bounties can't be collected in warzones or by faction members/allies.

the system is just crazy flawed.. you can still just /f leave and kill them then rejoin.

it would have to be something like not letting anyone who is in the faction or ally kill you.. AND no one who has been in your faction or ally/neutral/truce in the last X amount of time. Seems complicated.
 
We know about this problem since the day after we added this plugin. Sadly people have to cheat in everything wich is sad on such a fun plugin. Only way bounty still works is by giving your friends bounty and see how long they can survive. We might remove it soon becourse of all this cheating.
 
Nowadays it's mostly about profiting from others, sadly.
