• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Seriously, what is the better building wood? Taking planks, flooring, houses, etc. into consideration. What do you prefer more?

Spruce works for most things so that's what I chose. But honestly I prefer a mix of Dark Oak frames and spruce flooring etc. It really depends on what I'm building though so I'm not sure I can honestly choose just one. And what happened to the other 3 types? :p

Spruce is the best to work with cause you can use it with either oak or dark oak, when doing dark and normal oak alone can often looks bad

I personally like to mix up the two, but if I had to choose I like black and darker colors. :3

I like how birch isnt an option.

Cant go wrong with oak planks and the lags are ok, but I do pref dark oak for framing contrast, but the planks are horrible. Spruce is a meh

This is assuming massive resource pack of course.

I think they all have their pros and cons. I think spruce and dark oak are the 'easiest' to build with considering they combo nicely with pretty much any other material.

I must say I will NEVER build with birch. I just won't do it.

It's important to take into account the style of building you'll be doing. My faction in specific just wouldn't look right had it been constructed using dark oak or spruce, which is why acacia and jungle were the two types we leaned towards to achieve the look we wanted.
