• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I have been seeing some people saying that items are overpriced and some say they are not. Tell me your opinion in the reply sections. And don't forget to vote!

Diamond used to be 2 silver a pop, (20 regals) you can get 20 diamonds for that price now... Don't complain :P...

I am working on a small side project to calculate the average price for the majority of items that people often trade. My baseline will be the Regalia market and then move to open suggestions or other markets for the gaps. I cannot promise a timeline but if my project is successful I should be able to show everyone a suggested value for items in MassiveCraft.

With that being said let me say this disclaimer: These prices are my own opinion and not that of the MassiveCraft staff team or anyone else for that matter.

Things are worth as much as people are ready to pay for them at the moment. It is really that simple. The reason why certain items are priced so highly is that some richer people often engage in bidding wars over them, therefore driving the price up quite a lot.

Here is my opinion about the current economy:

Certain things have increased prices because of consumer taste: These items include; PvP gear, McMMo concoctions, Certain Voting items, and Certain enchanted books.

The nether market; Is at rock bottom due to the influx of items in the market

The valuable material market is iffy, Certain commodities like gold are on the rise due to dumps for the item, but other things like diamonds, lapis, emeralds, iron are still bottomed out after the fishing crisis

Overall I would like to say the markets are all very healthy because consumer wages seem to be on the rise. The only shortfall of the current economy would be at the top of the money top list. All of those 1%-ers are hording money as a competition and investing very little of it back into the markets.
