A couple weeks before...

"This is exciting, I can't believe we are doing this."
"Will you stay quiet, I don't exactly need anyone knowing we are here."
"Right right! Stealthy! Stealthy!"
"You aren't exactly being stealthy."
Saen glanced over his shoulder tiredly at the bouncing and excited Isldar who trotted along behind him. His quiet and hushed scowling seemingly getting him nowhere. Though she was actually quite graceful on her feet, not making too much noise besides the verbal communication that she seemed to need to keep herself going. Her boots only ever once or twice making a soft pat on the ground as the Duo moved along the dirt filled streets. As the squeezed between and along houses on their forever seeming search Saen couldn't help but glance at her a couple times. She intrigued him, perhaps just as much as she once had his sister. One couldn't really tell she was an Isldar from the outside. Though pale in her skin and icy blue orbs, that had pierced the lungs of the Half-Elf since the day he met her, her hair was soft and brown. He would have much rather thought her a New Ceridian or perhaps an Ithainan, due to those precisely cut and rounded off ears of hers. If they had not been clipped he'd think her an Altalar, which he himself shared a half of. She had a very brilliant smile as well, though he knew she could be serious if she really desired to be. Enjoyable company, one might say. He, himself was feeling a little worse for the wear, tired one might say of searching for the thing the Isldar had come to him for. Tired bags under his protruding eyes, with the same thinned lip of a frown that graced his face. His rough hair tossed in a mess, and half falling out of the ponytail he had tried to stuff it in. His freckled cheeks puffed out slightly as he stopped in his tracks for a moment, his hands shifting up to his hips. He tested the ground with a boot, clearing his throat lightly as the young woman almost slipped past the place they had been looking for. His silver gaze circled the place they had stopped at, hands raising slightly in preparation.
"You better be sure this time."

Everything had gone to plan, his hand stretching out in a tremble as he clutched the now glowing Cube within his hand. He wasn't very much interested in it, a sight that he had seen many times. He could however not say the same to the girl who was wide eyedly staring over his shoulder as he held up the thing they had been searching all day for. She, of course, could not see the soft glow that admitted through the glass panels of the square. He closed his eyes briefly as he just focused on inhaling the dull and rather limited air. He found it a struggle to even exhale without letting out a harsh cough or two. The soft and pale hand gripping to his shoulder blade gave a flemish of movement, as an attempt to keep him from slipping into darkness. Those silver orbs crossed each others path as the shaking swayed him, causing his head to similarly snap from side to side. His hand flung up almost whacking the other Nelfin in the face, he wished for her to stop. He felt her physic leave him, before he felt it again on his other side, gently removing the Qatil from within his digits.
"Did the gears stop moving?"
His voice appeared stranded and soft, trying to make sure the other Elf came closer just to hear his inquiry. Her eyes settled on the device, turning it slowly within her hands to try and peer over the mechanics.
"Yes…? Y-Y..Yes. They have!"
"Shh! Shh...Then it is there."
"Woah.."
"You need to keep this to yourself.."
"Why?"
"Soul mages are valuable, especially if they can Soul Harvest. It's not like powered Qatil just gets made...you need a soul mage for the soul inside... I think I'm one of the only ones in Regalia that currently can do this..so just keep it to yourself...yea?"
"Right, I will."
"Everyone believes I am merely a Silven...let us keep it that way.."
"Thank you, Saen."
"You are welcome, Kat."
