• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Honestly i don't think is a smart idea at all since this will actually get bad, to the point where people end up leaving. pvp chat was put in with a "should we do it" way of thinking in the start, i do get this, but we don't want it going to bad, so i say no to this personally.

I mean people would be able to leave the anarchy chat if they felt like its getting out of hand, wouldnt take more than a second or two
 
What happens when someone learns about phone numbers, addresses and they start posting them in a chat. From a legal perspective, MassiveCraft doesn't have any obligations (I think???) to stop players from doing this kind of stuff. From a moral and ethical view point, you cannot allow people to publish phone numbers. That is totally, 100% over the line.

While, I don't necessarily dislike the idea of letting PvP'ers to let off their rage-infused hormones in a chat by themselves, I think somethings are always too far (as stated above) and thus there will always be the issue of staff having to monitor said chat channel.

I mean why would your phone numbers appear there anyways without you wanting it? only way i see that happening is if you were doxed which would obviously be against server rules at it has always been?

Although i do agree that posting peoples personal information wouldnt be a good thing, so maybe add like 1 or two rules against that? i think the reason why alot of people want this chat is just to flame tbh, not post personal information.
