• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Due to the various terrible atrocities that happen in the wars that have plagued the world of Aloria, the Alorian Peace Keeper have been formed! We aim to quell the various war crimes that are being committed on a seemingly day to day basis.

Are they thinking of using blue dyed armor and sticks to stop them, or is that just there "look" like I'd find it hard to imagine stoping empires wars with 3 people using sticks and leather.
 
Um, yeah. I see no way they're going to help promote peace in any way. You haven't even given any information about them. Who is your leader? Do you have a base? What exactly are your intentions? You need to elaborate on this.
 
You have to figure out how you could manage stopping pvpers that'd overpower you, and if there's only a few of you and your intentions are to stop war with war the peacekeepers may not be useful but if you can solve it that'd be neat.
 
Do you really think 3 of you guys will be able to bring world peace? Let's see you face some of the stronger factions on the server.

3 people who are wearing leather armor, and are armed with twigs are not going to do crap, and if you ever interlope in any of my faction's wars, this is what will happen to you:

So you guys use leather armor and sticks in combat or do you guys use diamonds and fight to straighten things out. Because my question wasn't completely answered, and you have a riot team? Like a faction? Or just a group of a few.

He has a point, sticks are weak itself but leather armor will burst right off your durability bar if they hit you like once with an axe, I suggest either getting someone to fund such a corporation with equipment or get extremely good at pvp. That's just my opinion.
 
TiroTypo is actually right. The idea behind it is to promote peace through diplomacy then through war. The leather and stick is just for formality.
 
The leather armor is a good idea for ceremonial/show purposes. But if you guys are going to hop into combat you need to be practical and wear diamond armor and use actual weapons.

Who says they wont? Why are you so negative about this? Do you have an issue with people trying to keep the peace and helping factions with diplomacy instead of watching them fight for months on end to no avail? I know a few of these people personally and they are not idiots who would rush into battle with leather armor and wooden sticks. If you really have that much of an issue with their logo picture then take it up with them in private message instead of spouting pointless words.
 
Fellbeast58blue well of course, but why would be jump into a fight? We are planning on functioning more like the U.N. Being neutral throughout the conflict unless something happens that has to draw us in.

Crug The Beast Well, this was just more of a arrival kind of thing, was going to make a post later that explained more of what we are, but to answer your questions: I would technically be the head Peace Keeper at this point in time, we are a group of people from various factions to allow for a more diverse representation of people and allow for there not to be one over arching biased opinion so there is no need for a base, and our goal is to sort out some of the wars that can be resolved peacfully. I hope that answered some of your questions, once the main post is up, you should be able to find better information there.

Seriously though, I am not being negative, so there is no reason for you to berate me.

I was just being practical and pointing out that you need to wear good gear when going into battle.

I do not "have a big issue" with them trying "to solve things through peace and diplomacy". I'm sorry if you can't grasp the fact that many times when our factions get into disputes, the only answer is to let steel and arrowheads do the talking.

My words are not pointless, they are educated and practical. Goodbye :P
 
Fellbeast58blue is kinda right sometimes war is needed and there's no use in talking cause some can't be negotiated with, and he's also right about you don't have to get short tempered whether someone thinks they should wear diamond not leather.

Well if you are simply going to be negative there is no point to post on this forums post at all, I doubt they will intervene with your personal wars and blood baths without being asked too so you have no reason to complain. As for your comments, well they were in fact far ruder than mine seeing as you had absolutely nothing positive to say in any of them. Not to mention they just repeated the same well known fact that leather armor and sticks are pointless against a high level opponents, yet they never once stated that that's what they would be wearing if they entered battle. Overall you said nothing worth reading or related to this post except what you just wrote against my comment.

I know it is an obvious fact that diamond beats leather and wood. But I was just confused on whether or not these peacekeepers were going into battle wearing leather armor and using sticks. I wasn't ever "repeating" it. I mentioned it in like one post.

 
We should stop fighting about this... We should just agree to disagree, ok so there was the question about armor and weapons thanks for answering it, and there was a fight on whether they would be using brains or bronze in solving, both will be needed and doesn't make anyone wrong for thinking you should use one of the 2, now it's about peacekeeping don't you find it ironic we're starting a fight right here?
 
I applaud your efforts, I can give you support from my faction if you need it. But I do not see this working, a lot of factions would not listen to someone wiser than them, I can see them going to war with you just because you tried to help them.
 
Billy Rage And how would they go to war with us when there is no one faction to go to war with? We take recruits from any faction willing to join in our ranks. We are not a faction more of a group with the ideals of peace in mind. I also thank you for your support, it may come in quite handy in future times.
 
Erm.. A stick, I think that represents mage wand, aint it?
