Who are we?
The Alchemist's Union of the Regalian Archipelago (Known as A.U.R.A. for short) is an organization of alchemists, brewers, and technicians who have banded together and act as one in order to achieve common goals. The Alchemist's Union aims to protect the integrity of its trade while improving working conditions. The Alchemist's Union of the Regalian Archipelago is a craft union. Meaning only members of a particular trade are eligible for membership. In this case, A.U.R.A. represents the primary interests of alchemists, brewers, and technicians.

Union Hierarchy
The Alchemist's Union of the Regalian Archipelago's hierarchy is composed of executive and non-executive positions. All positions are elected. Full members of the union are eligible to run for these offices, and both full and half members are encouraged to vote in union elections. Executive positions are held with no set term limit, meaning an individual can serve as long as they continues to be elected. Elections occur on a quarterly basis, and the results are read during the next practicable meeting.
Non-Executive positions are held by a member until voted out, and there is no set election dates.
Executive Positions:
- Chairman to the Union: The chairman acts as the figurehead of the union, responsible for calling meetings to order, announcing orders of business, putting motions to a vote, and adjourning meetings.
- Deputy to the Union: The deputy acts as an assistant to the chairman, and fulfills the duties of the chairman when not present.
- Guide to the Union: The guide acts as the enforcer of the union. Duties include protecting meetings, and keeping the peace by making sure union members do not overstep their rights.
- Bursar to the Union: The bursar acts as the financial officer of the union. Duties include allocating funding, minimizing expenses, maintaining financial records, and setting the price of union dues.
- Clerk to the Union: The clerk acts as the secretary of the union. Duties include recording attendees present, recording transcripts of meetings, and reading the previous meeting minutes.
Non-Executive Positions:
- Mediator to the Members: A mediator's duty is to grieve working and safety conditions on behalf of the members of the union belonging to a specific company.
- Arbitrator to the Members: An arbitrator's duty is to grieve disciplinary action on behalf of the members of the union belonging to a specific company.
