MISSION STATEMENT

The Commerce Ministry strives in supporting and catering to any and all businesses of Regalia in order to increase economic growth within the city. Assisting in the employment, reconstruction, and success of local businesses will allow for the talented people of our city to be recognized and celebrated for their hard work in the Empire.

GOALS

◈ Support businesses as a guiding force when in times of struggle to help the establishment regather support.​

◈ Document businesses to allow consumers an organized list of businesses and their skills to allow more trade to commence.​

◈ Advertise through many means to make employment easier for members in society seeking work.

RESOURCES

Business Registry:
The Ministry will keep information on businesses who have consented. On this list, businesses will have a small summary of their goods, prices, and location. Willing participants can also include a resume of their staff or selves to showcase their skills. This will allow for the Ministry to send patrons to these individuals based on their skills.
Example: A member of the peerage is looking for a skilled sculptor, painter, and winemaker. The individual would come to the Commerce Ministry and show their interest to find people with these skills, in turn, the Ministry would find individuals within their records with those skills to give to the person.

Worker Registry:
If a member of Regalia is seeking work, the Ministry will make a file on this individual and review the businesses upon their registry and give the person a small list of places that either fit their skill set or interests.
Office hours will be announced soon and any interested in joining this list registry or the other should stop by. If you cannot make it, pin a letter to set up a meeting time.

Job Fairs:
The Ministry will strive to motivate stores to join a bi-monthly job fair which can stimulate businesses, gain patrons, and workers. At this event, a single business that has shown initiative and success will be given an award of Business of the Month. Upon the plaque will be the date it was received with the emblem of the Ministry engraved upon it. Once the award is gifted there will be a showcase of the business published for all to view. This award can be given to a business multiple times to motivate businesses to strive for perfection.

Advertisement Assistance:
If a new or old business is struggling to advertise or gain patrons, the Ministry would assist in making advertisements, advising menus, and sending requests to unemployed members of Regalia to help nourish the establishment back to help.

LEGAL RIGHTS

The Ministry has been given the following rights:

◈ The Right to maintain a public ledger of Businesses and specialized Artisans in the Isle.

◈ The Business Registry can be found here.
These documents will always be changing so be sure to keep an eye out.

◈ The Right to aid willing businesses with organization, recruitment, and advertisement.

◈ Any business is able to letter the Minister to seek assistance no matter their location.

◈The Right to direct customers and prospective workers to businesses within the Isle.​

POSITIONS

Minister: Grand Duchess Tuija Nordhjem​

The Minister is able to review any business and compile a list of their attributes for any and all to view. The Minister can also request a business of interest to meet with, though it may be declined by the owner. These meetings would be a check-in on how the establishment has been either succeeding or struggling. If struggling the Minister would be able to ask permission to help with advertisements, sending workers, and also giving advice.

Depute of Commerce: Shen'Li Chu Hua
The Depute Minister is the right hand to the Minister and acts as a vice president of sorts. This means that if the Minister is either away or currently busy with other matters, the Depute of Commerce may reach out to complete meetings, take notes, or send information to establishments. The Depute may also sit in any meetings unless told otherwise.

Manager of Records: Saana Gahan​

The Manager of Records is able to edit the records to both add or remove businesses as requested, and add workers to the registry. With this position, you are also allowed to take part in any meetings the Minister may have regarding the Ministry itself less specifically told otherwise.

◈ Any business interested in discussing with the Minister should pin a letter and a meeting will be set as soon as possible.
◈ Some businesses will be automatically reached out to by the Minister if she believes they show promise.
