• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Basically the title- If possible, the height of the radius for local chat to make more sense since you tend to pick up on things at the floor directly below you that you shouldn't be able to hear, and it floods chat, particularly in the apothecary. Seems to me it'd make more sense if only yells and screams and such could be heard from the floor above or below you.

I'm mixed on this. While local chat does get spammy, the radius is necessary when having discussions around a table (the heads of the table need to hear each other)

Perhaps mutter and says can be swapped in terms of radius? I think it is a good idea to allow for local chat to have a shorter radius, but we also need to have the default radius in a symbol somewhere.

Alternatively, just kinda deal with it. Kinda a lame point, but chat will get spammy regardless. I tend to just avoid large crowds for that reason.

I don't mean the overall radius. Just the up and down radius.

Eeeeeeh. Eh? I mean. In open areas, I'd bet you actually could hear the conversation. Noisy places will be noises. It should be a really logic situation where you go "is it open where I can hear this?" If not, then no, you didn't hear it.

Chat isn't declared on two different axes. A chat happens from XYZ blocks away from the source block. Any height change would also lower the width change.
