Addendum To The Old Town Missive

Following our previous missive, there have been a number of misunderstandings regarding our stance with the State's new regency. Namely, there are some that consider our announcement to be opposing the current authorities and laws within Regalia, with concerns arising over aberrants, mages and how they should now be treated in response to our previous message.

We would like to clarify that whilst Old Town stands with and supports the State's new regency, we still intend to cooperate with the Inquisition and other relevant forces relating to current synodical law. This would be in the best interest of the mages that reside within the slum walls and those that consider themselves citizens of Regalia, rather than possible threats. Whilst it is difficult to speak for every voice within Old Town, these actions are recommended from the Junior Arcane Minister and a warrior of the Regalian Empire.

So long as the interactions between Old Town and the Synod do not contradict the allegiance to the State, then Old Town will comply. However, any attempts to coup the State will be viewed as hostility and will be forwarded on to the appropriate authorities. We are willing to cooperate, but the views of the people of Old Town will not be suppressed.

We would further like to extend our sincerest apologies to Lord Inquisitor Abelhard Rote, as the intent of the initial missive was not to offend. Regardless of intentions, it appears we have done just that and, as such, apologise.
