• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Well, I took a visit to what used to be Pristina. Pristina was the first faction I was in that had good leaders, and I liked enough to stay in. I bought a house, for 25r. I set up a brewery, where I perfected my brewing techniques, and mass produced potions, as well as my budget would allow. I set up up small tavern on the first floor, with named food and drinks. Eventually, however, it all fell apart. The leader went inactive, the players went off to find a new faction, and I was left with a town, full of empty corners and has-been houses. The streets are now empty. They look the same, but now also hold memories of the past. Eventually, I spoke with the leader over skype, and left the faction. I was the last active player. My inspiration to create this thread is because in just a few hours, What used to be the busy town of Pristina will have the majority of its surviving lands be reset.

I went on to join Skyreach, then Atheria. Then I made my own faction, Outpost. But this thread is suppoed to be less about my back story, and more of a memorial, to factions past; whether they have been swallowed by time, world deletion, or massive restore.

Here's some screenshots, of then and now.

So, what are your stories? Are your first factions still around? Do you even remember what they were anymore?

Edwyth was my first faction, with King_Of_Heroes leading it.
They're all inactive, but I'm sure the Edwyth faction is around in Daen

Thanks for sharing your memories. Pristina was my Massivecraft hometown, so I was disappointed to see that the city's new owner (hopefully unintentionally) made the city meet its doom by unclaiming the bulk of it two days before Massiverestore. I remember back in Pristina I took my leave a week before school started to focus on summer assignments for my two AP classes, intending to come back the first weekend. After school started my laptop's hard drive seemingly crashed, and I never installed Minecraft on my Ubuntu desktop, so it was a few weeks before my laptop was functioning again after I got its hard drive replaced by warranty. I was added to a Skype group with those who had been apart of Pristina, and asked about the faction, and they were like "We don't play that anymore. It's pay-to-win now." so I took their word for it and didn't come back until the first Monday afternoon of December when I suddenly got a Skype call from a former officer of Pristina, asking me to join the new faction that he and another former officer of Pristina were starting together (I: "I thought it's pay-to-win now." He: "It's not that bad."), which is now Redbrick.

It was some point about a month ago that it occurred to me that since Pidog wouldn't be able to hold Pristina forever, and I've never had the spare claiming power to take it (Pidog did once offer the city to me), it might not be able to survive. I'm glad that you got a chance to say your goodbyes to our beloved hometown, though. I guess Pristina will be "pristine" again... (Except for the section that didn't get unclaimed.)
