• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

My jaw has just dropped, smashed through the floor, and is now plowing through to the other side of the world right now. My brain however, has just exploded with such force that it is travelling into space right now.

Ikr, weird...:^) someone is actually reading the help in the info centre.

(yes 20tps :P)

This must be the sharding test. I expect he is in the new world, on one of the new servers. Congratulations to the team.

In with Cayorian's help, he shall lead us to a new Eden... The old one was rubbish it was filled with naked people and snakes with a bit bad connection

That HAS to be photoshopped.
Cay says on the website that sharding is working and the team has access to a new world, on a different server, for testing. Given that, it is entirely possible that Igel was on this world, on its own server, and was experiencing 20 TPS, while everyone else, on S3 was experiencing something considerably less. If you do /list medieval it shows how many people are on the different worlds. When sharding is implemented each world will have it's own server, so the TPS will be based on the present results of /list medieval instead of the total # of people on the server. They will then increase the player cap to balance max # of players and TPS (probably based on the most popular world, though they may have other ideas).

It sure was an experience that soon, we all will be used to.
