Physical Information
The price of evil leaves a mark, regardless of whether or not its participant was willing. Unnatural is an appropriate description for an existence like his; however, the word monstrous is more appropriate.


Height & Build - Undeniably, a single glance at him will reveal that he's a figure whose temper is not to be toyed with. Situated comfortably at an astounding 7'4, the hulking Armament's silhouette breaks apart any outline of a standard crowd. Broad shouldered and heavily fit with defined muscle, Maenukhal is very physically adapted to combat and physical altercations.

Skin - If presented in a form that is devoid of the accessories and necessities required of an Armament, the Kathar's bare skin is revealed to be a shade of withered green grey. It's desaturated appearance, as well as the presence of scattered emerald scales buried into his complexion, can convince other to believe that the texture of his skin is rough and dehydrated. In reality, his skin and flesh is cool to the touch, very similarly to that of a snake's.

Hair - The most obvious trait that his being is composed of, and one that earned him a good deal of suffering in his youth. Rather than sporting locks of soft, silky hair, the coils of emerald sprouting from his head are writhing snakes. 10 snakes in total branch off his scalp, giving him what closely resembles a 'slicked back' hairstyle. Each snake's body is mostly green, with red patterning starting from each snake's head and fading out the closer it is to his scalp. With apple red tongues and even redder eyes that are reflective in the little light available at dusk, the snakes on Maenukhal's head are a sure indicator of his Godborn lineage. There's not a single hair on his chest, arms and legs, but he does have some facial features such as eyebrows and faint eyelashes.

Eyes - The Kathar's eyes are a bright, vivid red that closely resembles the eye color of his snakes. Although the red pigmentation of his eyes are commonly seen in Kathar bloodlines, its undeniable that the sheer brightness of his eyes and the faint glow from them due to his Godborn lineage can throw off anyone who isn't prepared to meet then head on. His pupils are unsurprisingly slitted, resembling snake eyes. Notably, this Kathar's external eyelids do not move normally like a regular individual's-- his functioning eyelid is internal and closes from side to side like a book.

Mutations - Maenukhal's past experience with magic has granted him additional features of abnormality. A pair of long, black horns protrude from his brow and snake upwards. Connected at the waist, a scaly tail makes itself known as well.

Accessories - From time to time, one can notice his snakes being fit with what looks like golden cuffs or rings. Though these are technically collars for the snakes themselves, they do appear to look like jewelry. Similarly, his horns may also sport a golden cuff on occasion.

Publicly, Maenukhal doesn't dare show his face openly out of awareness. He's rather cautious not to alarm anyone and will always present himself masked or armored. The snakes that reside in his helmet can't be helped, however; they peek in and out of his helmet as they please.


Mental Evaluation
The first impressions of Maenukhal Hasarvaliin. Please take note that this does not explore the full mentality of the character, just an idea of what he carries himself to the public and the attitude he demonstrates to acquaintances or colleagues.

• At a first glance, and perhaps many glances after the first, the Kathar can be labeled best with a single word; idle. He will not speak unless addressed but will return any address directed towards him in a cordial manner. When replying, his answers are short and concise. Varying from three to nine-word replies, or even just one-word replies, Maenukhal's social interactions are blunt and leave more to be desired. These interactions are far from hostile or even unfriendly, with his tone remaining flexible to answer in kind to whomever is addressing him.

Mechanics
Race Mechanics (Kathar):

  • Kathar power cannot be denied to them. If anyone uses an Ability/Mechanic that would force them to use Radiant instead of Sinistral Magic, they still use Sinistral anyway.
  • Kathar can change the alignment of any Spirit to that of Void, so long as the possess/own/control the Spirit. Void Spirits are always symbiotic for them also.
  • Kathar are not affected by the mental characteristics or changes of any Affliction or Affinity and are always in control of their own mind from them.
  • Kathar are able to look at a person and intuit their Corruption Desire, with OOC Consent (see below). Then, the Kathar can act towards this goal.
  • Kathar can use subtle vice-heightening curses on those within Emote Range, heightening their Pride, Fury, Avarice, Corruption, Rejection, or Hedonism.
Occult Mechanics (Morgan Godborn):
Light
Manipulator
You can produce bright lights in your hands, at your fingertips, or in the air that will light up large areas like rooms or large open caverns. This light can be used to make an area that is conventionally dark as night appear bright as day, but does not have any Combat applications, and some Magical forms of darkness overrule Light Manipulation.
Emotion
Sense
You can sense the emotional states of others, even when they are trying to hide it with their expression or body language. This will not detail why or how they came to such an emotion, you will only be able to feel it by looking at them. You can also try to telepathically heighten or lessen these emotions, but it is up to the other player whether this succeeds.


Vice
Master
You are a natural corruptor, able to detect what vices and corruptible traits others have (consent not needed). You can then initiate a corruption cycle of another person, causing them to take on heightened vices, or go down a "corruption-arc" path where they become "evil" (this does require consent).

Scourge
You can magically hide your teeth and Afflicted eyes. This breaks during feeding. If you have the Shape Shifter Mechanic, using this Mechanic while shifted makes you unable to Combat Roleplay. If someone knows your real name and that you're a Vampire, this Mechanic doesn't work on them.
Long
Living
You live much longer than the average life span of your heritage. You can live up to three times as long, and you can visually stop aging at a chosen age (must be at least 21). Additionally, you are immune to non-magical diseases and Afflictions.
Sanguine
Bargain
You can grant immunity to Vampirism to any person willing to bargain with you. In turn, if the bargained person attacks you, reveals that you are a Vampire, or reveals the deal, they take massive damage (discuss together what this means before making the bargain).
Mind
Suggestion
With OOC consent, you can mind-trick Characters into doing your bidding without establishing full Mind Control over them. These simple verbal commands are undetectable, but cannot be more complicated than a single sentence. This does not count as Mind Control and thus Mechanics that provide immunity do not work.
Vampire
Transformation
You can transform into a Vampire Form, which is a Monstrous form with a unique Vampire-themed design that you can create. This counts as a Disguise and a Monstrous Transformation (illegal in Regalia). You remain in Vampire Form even after reaching 0 HP.


Greater
Hunter
You are an apex hunter in the wilds, capable of greater sense of the hunt, sight, and hearing in nature. You can effortlessly capture mundane animals in the hunt, and may receive additional benefits during Monster Hunt Events or Monster encounters in the forests of Regalia.
Mind
Thief
With OOC consent, you can take memories, feelings, or passions from those you Vampirically feed on, and establish a mini-quest to retake them. This quest should be agreed on between you and the player who you received consent from.
