• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

SO. I am sure you have all seen or read some posts about Baver. I myself didn't like the event correlating to her death, as I found it could of made a lot more sense but it was kind of hard to do this with the low TPS from all the people who showed up!

I myself sort of hope to see some really important event go down in the near future... I mean the Archdemon can't stay in a statue forever~ I hope to see something chaotic, and maybe throw some balance into things. As I think Regalia has a bit to good of an advantage right now... way to good to last.
Whats your hypothesis on what may happen in the future?

Estel is like, trapped in a statue, so why not this guy toooo.

{My hypothesis}
If the statue that holds the Archdemon Beheasal shall be destroyed than the Archdemon will be freed from the statue, because since he was sort of bound to statue and it gets destroyed, he is no longer bound to it.
{Yeah I used the "proper" format of a Hypothesis xD }

That's actually pretty good

The only thing is... With the mention of how the Emperor would make the perfect vessel... That would be really scary, as I have a feeling things could get bloody. I mean, that thief is still around...

The ball would've been better if all of Aloria land and people had been sucked into the void and now it was sort of forever night....

I found the whole thing pretty interesting but that's probably because I was up there? I dunno. I believe that until the statue is broken, the Arch Demon will be in there. Or I'd like to believe that anyway, ehe.

maybe the arch demon became the emperor of regalia, but is just in disguise (no offenses meant)

I have two different ideas for what will come:

The realistic idea would be as follows:
  1. Sultan attacks Regalia & the statue is accidentally broken/unleashed.
  2. Statue destroys Regalia & Sultans forces.
  3. Demon Portal opened in the heart of Regalia, allowing Archdemon to attack freely.
  4. The ruins of Regalia, the Sultanate, and the assorted other small nations (Dwarven Kingdoms, Orcish Tribes, Elven Lordships) will set up a long-standing war against the Demons, with the eventual goal of closing the demonic portal.
    • Several different towns would be founded across multiple worlds and would have rentable houses
What will actually happen:
  1. Sultan attacks Regalia & releases Statue by accident.
  2. Sultans forces destroyed - Regalian army forces statue out.
  3. Regalian Victory and now unopposed empire (because who cares if the archdemon is the most powerful being in the universe -_-)
  4. Regalia goes about being expanded endlessly because its easier to work with than 5-7 small towns.

@Mecharic I think the latter is more probable, but hopefully there will be something a tad more balanced.

There won't. I can't see MonMarty destroying his precious Regalia, or even turning it into a crater that needs to be rebuilt. "Staff have put too much effort into Regalia." will be the reason.

I kind of see that as solid reasoning, but it would be nice to at least have a period of time in which there is prevalent destruction. ( And maybe save the map so it can be easily fixed?)

Did none of you read Amelia's thing? She carts away something pulsating with power. So she probably has the statue.

I like the realistic idea better. I'm tired of seeing the same mundane city controlled by the same mundane government.

Regalia should stop Godmoding and accept it's fate.

Uh, pretty sure that thing got taken to the prison, so unless Amelia like, broke in maybe? Yeah I dunno.

Regalia needs to stop god modding? Ehr. I can sort of see your point but still, Regalia is the RP Hotspot, where would everyone go? Idk.

Well, Hex mages could technically deceive... And who knows, you never know. There maybe some plan behind this. I personally don't want to see Regalia dissapear due to it being a hotspot, but I would love a little chaos.

I don't know. I just want to fight against Regalia without being labeled a traitor because of it. That's why I think being able to spawn on a different Super-power continent other than Regalia would be nice.

But wouldn't that be interesting? To have people recognise your character as that >u< I do see your point, but I don't think there's enough RPers to make another whole continent.

Not at first maybe, but I think overtime it could. I know of a few people who would like nothing more than to hate Regalia and not end up dead or executed in the process.
It's sort of like a personal choice that most games give you to be either a part of the dark side or the good side.

No rpers get to have any fun, its the staff doing their own thing, maybe a random Shendar would find the statue and noms it, but no. And all rp is only centered around humans and it gets bland.

It's comforting to know that people who don't actually roleplay in Regalia have such strong opinions on the matter and feel the need to overrule the people who actually make use of the environment on a daily basis without even asking for their opinion.

Be realistic please. There was 200 people there, should we have allowed them all to slap MrsBaver in the face or stab her before stuffing her away?

Could have/would have been. The problem in the end is that everyone wants to have "a part" in it, which means there would be about 200 to 300 "parts". We'd be sitting there for 4 hours letting people go in turns, and it really just isn't feasible. Everyone feels they should have a part in it and everyone feels they should be the exception. It's easier to make no exceptions at all. We tried to impart as much player control over the outcome as possible by the Quests, in the end a large majority of the players finished that question, and indirectly contributed to the outcome of the event.

out of curiosity, wich quest whas chosen the most? and what would've been the other outcome?

The thief's quest was, indeed, chosen the most. As for the other outcome, that's something I can't tell you now. But I can assure you that Amelie will be back, and that there are definite hints about it in the End of Sophie Baver post.

I generally don't gif post, but.

When in doubt, charge!
Besides. We have a navy. And a Fong. What do they have?

I'm sorry if it came out that way. What I meant to say is that I wish Regalia would lose for once. That, and maybe get to see the possible architecture that other civilizations might have to offer. (still waiting for Hadar)

Maybe give the ambitious villains of the server a morale boost? I don't know.

I didn't mean for it to be strong or insulting to the people who have worked so hard on it. I only wanted to show that I agreed somewhat with Mecharic's viewpoint.
