I always try and do inktober every year at my own pace. It's how this thread started. I'm happy to look back and see how long it's been since my first rodeo too. Plus how far I've come along with both friends and my own self. This year I did Guntober with my own choice. There's pretty much one picture per week since I ain't really got time for a whole thirty-one days. Enjoy what's here cause I've had fun with each one. Happy Halloween Ya'll.

Haven't made a genuine post in what feels like a year but I've been keeping up with art. I've honestly done more other side stuff on the forums rather than actual postings here but I'll let ya'll find that out while I talk for a little while.
Around Christmas last year I upgraded from my old program FireAlpaca to ClipStudio whenever I started working then and started making money. There's a lot of other pictures other pictures on this first panel I started out on but most of them are in pencil. This was pretty much the first inked piece I did with Clip and it turned out really well. It was pretty jarring with all the new tools but the switch from FireAlpaca to here has been easy to adjust too.
Two below are ones I did fairly recent but have been a month or two. Being able to get into patterns and small symbols have been fun and what I enjoy drawing the most. Embroidery like stuff.
These are the most recent I've done. Nothing much to say.
Surprisingly this is the first attempt I've had at legit coloring after drawing for about three to four years now. I think it came out well. I've kinda kept to B&W all this time with occasionally blue as my ink but I sorta wanted to test out color and it's sorta not too hard to do. Just a bunch of texturing and correct color choice and it can work out.
Some ideas I had after thinking about clothes.
I've started to round out a lot of my rough edges from my art before, and have became pretty happy about it too. Seeing a sort of style that I have started to build up and put on paper today is nice. There's work needed but I'm glad to have a foothold in where I'm at. Cause a lot of you don't read these I'll say that I sorta wish I had some people to draw around though. I enjoyed people beetroot and their art a lot and feel pretty happy to get to know them when they came back to massive about a year ago now. Haven't really talked to them much recently other than sending a gif of a cat to them here and there.
I probably will post more stuff here certainly but have been thinking about moving else where.

I will NEVER get enough of seeing this art. It is so GOOD and idk how tf you have managed to get the hair so perfect. I can barely do good with normal pencil let alone anything of this quality. Been wanting to make a few of these tributes to some people around the server.
First one that comes to mind goes to a @YunYun who I have a lot of memories being around.
Specifically hunting trips around one and ahalf years ago now during winter.

This probably isn't gonna be the last time I post here but it might be awhile from when I do. Here's some stuff I've done this last part of summer before I move out.
This is probably the most detailed piece you're gonna get out of this batch. I need to do more actual set pieces. I like it a lot and don't really remember when I drew it.
A lot of left facing male busts. They're all done weeks apart. Nothing really to comment.
Female busts, I've been using a new pen that I've started to like a lot. It's a type of ink pen but looks a lot like a marker. It gives a lot more texture than normal pens which gives me padding to work with but wouldn't be good for real official stuff. I think a real analog and ridged pen would be nice.
Oh I also got a new screen tablet. It's good.
Putting the ending card here, thanks for keeping up with this for so long.
This is gonna be the rest of the basket, a mess of pictures. I like the guy in the helmet.

Dunno why I drew these with a black background. But that file had a lot of stuff I didn't
remember doing. I really like doing patterns they're my favorite part of those types
of portraits.

I'm back, earlier than usual. Almost like my old schedule of posting per month. Anyways there's not much going on. I've sorta settled into my new life quite well. Surprisingly it's like I've been more into art just by how little time I have for it. Kinda obvious that it makes it special but I like that. There's only four of you or so that read this at this point. Other than the people that look through the art channels fresh to here. This is honestly a place for me to completely chill out and be real for the moment by myself, record what I've done and talk to myself. I like that too. However if you do skim through here that's cool too. I'll still be around, just for you.
Now to this month.
The biggest dog in the room.
Probably the most I've done, there some more in a different layer, I did this month.
I started with the buildings which where based off some parts of a real picture.
The red was a last thing type of addition which I really liked the color of the red fun to draw with.
I'll go into little parts later but my other favorite is the deer skull woman. She was pretty fun.
I got the eyes for this from a picture I saw. Don't know where it is.
I also like doing those little reaction squares too. Fun for a quick expression.
Nothing much else to say.
Been going to some college football games,
our band here has some funny hats and uniforms.
They have some pretty wild practice times though.
This is the oldest in this set actually,
I drew this right after a week or so I posted last time.
I like the little blocks of color to represent the tuffs of wool and their seems.
A new set I did one day. Nothing much to comment but I was working on eye and face shapes.
this one's from the set above, believe I used a Hayashida Q
reference for the shading. Turned out good I like it a lot.
Especially the sleeves.
Nothing to add on about the ones above.
I like this little scene. It's a lot smaller in reality.
Testing Pens.
The only colored piece within this. Could've done better on the sleeve's lineart color to make it lighter but it is what it is.
The most recent drawings as of this post, done the prior night. I read through the main about Marty talking about redoing Vladno to be more secret police like and I digged it.
Made some mock up uniforms in the moment and I like them.
To sorta end off I've been doing character portraits for sorta a practice thing.
Just to keep my mind fresh. I usually pick random or by theme.
Above is Yuri I did a while back. Honestly I just like writing in Russian
more than anything but his character is fun to hear about.
