So, this is something uncharacteristic of me: A serious post on the Massive forums. usually all of my posts are memes, or RP related.
But its time to tell the truth behind my sudden disappearance after being so hyped up to come back.
Its actually a multitude of reasons, but there's two main ones: A stockholm syndrome type problem I'm having where I keep going back to Gmod despite the game's community nearly driving me to suicidal depression on multiple occasions, and the fact that I feel really burnt out. Not on Massive. On everything multiplayer.
Every time I get on to any game someone is throwing the match. or they're abusing the rules to attempt to get me banned. Its at the point where I honestly feel like its the same. And I've started to regress to my old ways of assuming the worst is gonna happen when I log in, even on Massive. That some Game staff decided to use an old issue as a permaban excuse. Or some toxic player will call me a retard and tell me to hang myself.
Lemme note: No I'm not saying the Gamestaff are actually like that. There's an anxiety within me that makes me think its gonna happen though, even though that's completely irrational.
I have no idea when I'll be coming back, if ever. But mainly I just needed a way to get stuff off my chest and since I lack friends this was the only way I could think of to do it. Thanks again for being an awesome community, and maybe I'll get over my problems and come back for real someday.
