• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Yea no, don't tell me it'll require coding. There are rumors that massive will implement an auction house GUI to replace /tp market. I, for one, was excited to have a faction and trade-chat only economy without /tp market... also, from what I've seen on other servers auction GUIs are just SO bad... any old noob can stick an item on there and a lot of times it just doesn't work out. Its so much better to have actually auctions in trade chat, and more fun too. In trade chat you can make things interesting with messages, and everyone can see whats going on.

I bet there's some way to implement a cool down so that way somebody can't just spam it. Plus I'm sure we can tie it to a channel of its own so that way people can opt out of auctions

/tp Market was being removed before there was any sort of talk about introducing an auction GUI. We are trying to encourage faction markets, and if the auction GUI does not work out, it can simply be removed.

yea but still, chat is so much more personal and honestly, more people will see trade chat than a silly GUI, and messages from a bot will just make people wanna mute trade chat. I know trade chat will still be a thing but still... I'm afraid everyone that doesn't really know how massive works will just rush to use the GUI and it'll be cancer.
