• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Said rework

The Slumgate was small and arguably looking uncreative. There were some other issues as well. From a management perspective, we are of the opinion that the creation of the debauchery island scene is strangling crime rp by pulling players away from the slums. We are remedying this:

  • Debauchery Island is being moved to the area in front of the slums.
  • We knocked down the houses in front of the slum gate to make space.
  • The Hidden Dragon has been rebuilt in its entirety in this "Dragon Quarter".
  • A second gate has been built which is to be manned by Guards, an Iron Gate complete with barracks and questioning / searching rooms.
  • The Dragon Quarter will represent a neutral free-zone for criminals and city elements to intermingle in the Hidden Dragon. Criminals will not be harmed unless they go out of their way to be hunted.
  • Three small stalls were added for additional commerce.
  • The Slums will be renamed to "Old Town" in the near future to detach the poverty and make it more about lawlessness and less about evil crime.
Pertinent for the Guard Charters:
  • You are now to man the front gate in the common district, with the iron gate, instead of the drawbridge gate. This drawbridge gate is only mean to be used in crisis situations where the Dragon Quarter is in danger, or where the city needs a more thorough protective barrier.
  • You are not to arrest anyone in the Dragon Quarter, unless they specifically use the quarter to avoid being arrested. This is to say, criminals can visit the Hidden Dragon and interface with non criminals and not get punished, but if it is believed that the criminal is just using the district to avoid punishment, they can still be arrested.
  • Criminals inversely are never to assault anyone or especially guards inside the Dragon Quarter to respect the free zone, or risk a crackdown by the guards with random arrests and the revival of Fort Loyalty.
  • High treason, heresy and other such execution worthy crimes are not safe in this district.
The area is reachable with /tp Slum or /tp RegalianSlum

I dont understand this. So if they know you are a criminal, they will arrest you?
Or is it just if you try to escape into there that it applies?
I think it means if they go out of their way to be a nuisance and provoke guards. Instigators will be punished regardless of the neutrality of the zone basically. Otherwise even if your known to be a criminal, as long as the crime isnt high treason or public heretics, etc your fine here.
