• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Anyone else really miss running around the desert north of Silveredge? Gnarf's Colosseum? The old desert castle of Alamut? TheOldMan's spawn building where GoodcatTheMage was selling everything under the sun. igel_son's Silveredge shop with all the building blocks on the second floor. The graveyard behind the spawn building. I sure wanna see it again. It's been maybe... two years since Ceardia was deleted, right? At this point many players probably have never even visited the map.

I'm sure Cayorion has the world saved in the deep depths of some 32 terabyte NAS. I don't think any players are going to be upset that their creations and secret rooms are explorable after so long. Why not offer it up for us to download?

I'm aware that the file size would be huge, perhaps a torrent file could be made, or it be reposted somewhere else. If this is too much to ask for, what if we just got Silveredge for download, nothing outside of the spawn. I would kill to see any of these old places again.

The map doesn't exist anymore. It has been hard deleted over 2 years ago.

I also used to have a world file of SilverEdge on my harddrive but since then I have done several upgrades to my computer and now I can't seem to find it. No matter how much I look :(

It was always a great intro!

Well that's a shame, I've had my fair share of deleting old projects. I've been disappointed by not being able to find things so many times, I've been backing up everything lately. Thanks for looking!
 
On the last day of Daendrocs existence I downloaded the world using WDL (mainly the spawns) to preserve their memory. Sadly I cant find the goddamn file anymore :(
 
This is sad, I have tried to get old world save files from Daendroc and ellador and the schemeticas for a few towns especially Algaron yet every path leads to a brick wall :(

There's a schematica for algaron in existence, idk who has it though.

Yea I get ya, there was a forum a while ago, I believe you were in it @jes_ of a few guys saying they had the schemetica but never heard much more about it after. I get a lead now and again of people saying they know someone who has it but that guy always turns out to be inactive, but such is life

I mean, what's stopping them from posting it, to begin with? Tbh I don't see the annoyance. Some people like to read these older things, anyhow. I enjoy them, and I never bothered looking through the forums past player apps, a year ago, so it's good to see some party of history I guess. o3o maybe someone finds it annoying, that you bother to say it's annoying xD inception.
