• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The 1.7 minecraft version is back on massivecraft, that means that you now can fight like in the old days, it opened up a new door that i thought was locked. Come back massive pvpers! #BringBackMassivePvp

Nah man, my time on massive is over. I'm too tired of coming back and only to hear people complaining about PvP being shit and dead. With all due respect, I respect what Massive has become, made itself a great community, in most of times more considerable than the rest of communities over the minecraft. But, there is always that group of people who wont like something and they'll constantly talk shit about it. I'm not being negative, but I can't stand it anymore. I wish good luck to all of you veterans and newcomers that are willing to PvP. Kudos to you and all hard working staff!

Just thought I'd ask, but what difference is massive pvp in 1.7 than in 1.8, 1.9, 1.10, 1.11, etc. The only difference I see is that dual wielding in unavailable, and that is a disadvantage. I often hear PvP-ers say they use older versions, but never know why.

In 1.8+ I believe it is, you have duel wielding and some other factors. There is attack speed, which has to charge up for full damage. This means you can't spam or jitter click and win a fight, you have to be slow and think carefully. Swords have a special AOE in full charge, axes break shields at full charge, hoes are super fast, and shovels have slightly longer range and do medium slow damage and medium slow speed. They don't like it because it makes their years of practicing spam clicking and jitter clicking and strafing basically useless.

Yeah, you'll find that group of people everywhere. There's no point in looking for somewhere there's not. Just stay out of PvP related topics and you should be fine. Apart from when they complain about something like traits or MassiveMagic (If that does happen)

I meant on massive. I know how 1.9 works. That mechanic is disabled on massivecraft.

Much better hit detection, good block hitting, overall better and more fun PvP. It's a big difference.

All those things are disabled in Massive PvP anyway, so I don't see why you are bringing it up considering markcraft specifically asked how it affects PvP on Massivecraft. Also I wouldn't dislike a new way of fighting if it was actually any fun, but I guess that's just me (if I wanted to be slow and think carefully I would play an actual strategy game, not a block game).

Its cancerous like this

No, its like people just showing up and bowspamming, like me. xD
Eh, if that's the case then pvpers should realize that if they want new pvpers to start popping up, then they are going to have to be patient with us. However, I do not know if this was what Sevak was implying with his post.

Cancerous? Is it more cancerous that more players are trying to pvp, or was it more cancerous that items don't drop?
Its cancerous that people can come back over and over with boom sticks just to troll. KOTH only ever ends because people get bored and just let someone else win
