All information displayed below is accessible to all characters, including guards and nobility that are not shut-in. The man described below has grey skin, burning red eyes, and hair that was charcoal black with ceremonial robes.​

IC:

Deep within the darkness of the sewers was the violence and lashing of tongues that would ensue daily. There was no rhyme nor real reason as to why it all occurred, often having unnecessary amounts of evil or crummy attempts of vigilante justice. Today, however, was a day of order and reason as an advertisement of sorts was pegged upon every other rotten wooden support. This page, unlike the usual scribbling from the desk of a mad man bent on rebellion, was written in an eloquent cursive script with elaborate loops and near-perfect placement. Even the surface, laying out in the eyes of any guard, commoner and passing noble would be the curvaceous document's message. Not long after finding these, a man with a voice that flowed like honey and skin as cold as marble would gather the attention of each and every group near. As he rambled on through his speech, only one phrase in particular seemed to stand out to the ears of the crowd.

"Ladies and gentlemen, you all stand before me with some sort of grievances in your mind. You cannot speak of them, which in itself, is a problem. Do you truly wish to carry upon your shoulders a cross that is not yours to bear? A writ of sin for being a creature of free-will? Some of you live beneath oaken supports over a hundred years in age, but some of you practically do not live at all in your mud-ridden tents and wounds from the dreaded Violet nightstick. We do not bring bias to those of red eyes, nor do we mock those with horns and collars of lapis. Wives; you share legal power, and yet you still are frowned upon society. Mages; you are unable to display your prowess due to fear alone. Vampires; you are forced to hide to keep your lives. Is that such a life to have? Not at all! Now come, one and all, and send to me your courage to better the world we live in!"

"We are not aiming to destroy the order of our world. We are aiming to bring glory and victory to the people."​

Without a second to spare, this preacher would vanish back into the crowd, taking his offers with him, but leaving his intentions behind. Every day or so, a courier would search the streets for applicants under the night's protective cowl, awaiting for someone to accept a deal with the devil himself.

OOC:

This group is based upon a long-dead cult of void worship, primarily using Vampires and blood mages as their protectors and priests of the darkness. Established in 117 AC but disbanded in 144 AC due to Elladorian pressures, an Ombratore has discovered an empty pod and a broken base with its many documents still intact. Most of it was preserved on accident when its entrance collapsed from dynamite being strategically placed. A pod hidden deep within the structure was only saved as it was buried in stone, breaking open after many decades to release the monster within. With its knowledge and old lessons of worship still in the mind of the zealous Zehler, this group no longer accepts payment in money; only in blood.

Alignments that are encouraged to join (Coven's alignment is Lawful Evil):

• Chaotic Good - To fix society so it may be 'equal for all.'
• Lawful Evil - To establish a better order and body of laws for the empowered.
• Neutral Evil - To profit in the fall of opponents, looting what they had.
• Chaotic Evil - To destroy the opposition with mercy non-existent.

There is a small form of ranking system. As far as this coven goes, those who win the favour of the Zehler will be granted more, and those who do not will be granted less, but advisers will be able to 'define' any commands the Zehler gives and make their own if required, making the advisers have more say. This all depends on player interest. If players from similar timezones take up a majority, yes, and they will happen every time there's to be an event, a player quest, or a general run-down on what's next in line.

Hi! I've actually got two characters I think would fit in a group like this, so I've made little apps for both separately.

If both are accepted, they will act as completely separate people entirely, and will not internally share information between each other. The IC reason for this will be that David doesn't like how much of a pathetic push-over Ëdwyrd is, and mocks / bullies him as a result. Ëdwyrd is quite scared of David, and thus avoids him. The two don't get along at all and this is a good excuse for them to not be seen together IC.

David Forester (name subject to change) is a "neutral evil" Ailor. He is large, stocky, and essentially what one would expect from those trained in the school of Blackmark. He uses heavy armour and pole-arms (such as the quarterstaff and bardiche) when in combat, and is a heavily dishonourable man.

• IC Reason for applying:
David - as the bastard of a low noble - was entitled to nothing of his family, and left home to become a Blackmark mercenary for little reason other than to become 'strong'. Years later, the specific company he worked for found themselves under the service of a noble who sided with Freya Lo during her occupation. Of course, this did not end well. During the final fight and riots of the city, David retreated into the eastern sewers to escape the chaos and to run from the clearly losing side he had found himself on. Now he seeks a new employer, and a new source of income. Overall, he is in it for the material gain.

I personally like your style and quality of roleplay, and think I'd - more than anything - just enjoy being part of this type of thing. Criminal and villain roleplay is definitely my type of scene.

Ëdwyrd Häj'ohr is a "chaotic good" Shendar. He's small, meek, and androgynous; quite timid and non-threatening. In terms of combat, he is an archer, and a corruption mage.

Ëdwyrd is quite naive, and is completely won over by practically everything this group appears to be standing for. I mean, his race is accused of possession on sight, and taken away to be tortured and collared to prove they're not demons. Ëdwyrd is all for a change, as he believes that isn't right. Along side this, he's also very desperate for money, and a place to stay. Overall, he is in it for the chance to aid in the ending of the horrible torture mages and Shendar - possessed and mutated - are subject to at the hands of Regalia.

Hi! I've actually got two characters I think would fit in a group like this, so I've made little apps for both separately.

If both are accepted, they will act as completely separate people entirely, and will not internally share information between each other. The IC reason for this will be that David doesn't like how much of a pathetic push-over Ëdwyrd is, and mocks / bullies him as a result. Ëdwyrd is quite scared of David, and thus avoids him. The two don't get along at all and this is a good excuse for them to not be seen together IC.

• Character Name and Description:
David Forester (name subject to change) is a "neutral evil" Ailor. He is large, stocky, and essentially what one would expect from those trained in the school of Blackmark. He uses heavy armour and pole-arms (such as the quarterstaff and bardiche) when in combat, and is a heavily dishonourable man.

• IC Reason for applying:
David - as the bastard of a low noble - was entitled to nothing of his family, and left home to become a Blackmark mercenary for little reason other than to become 'strong'. Years later, the specific company he worked for found themselves under the service of a noble who sided with Freya Lo during her occupation. Of course, this did not end well. During the final fight and riots of the city, David retreated into the eastern sewers to escape the chaos and to run from the clearly losing side he had found himself on. Now he seeks a new employer, and a new source of income. Overall, he is in it for the material gain.

• OOC Reason for applying:
I personally like your style and quality of roleplay, and think I'd - more than anything - just enjoy being part of this type of thing. Criminal and villain roleplay is definitely my type of scene.

• Server Activity:
Normally able to get on for decent amounts of time (as long as there's something to do, I can usually stay for hours at a time) almost every day, though may be inactive on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays due to IRL stuff.

• Character Name and Description:
Ëdwyrd Häj'ohr is a "chaotic good" Shendar. He's small, meek, and androgynous; quite timid and non-threatening. In terms of combat, he is an archer, and a corruption mage.

• IC Reason for applying:
Ëdwyrd is quite naive, and is completely won over by practically everything this group appears to be standing for. I mean, his race is accused of possession on sight, and taken away to be tortured and collared to prove they're not demons. Ëdwyrd is all for a change, as he believes that isn't right. Along side this, he's also very desperate for money, and a place to stay. Overall, he is in it for the chance to aid in the ending of the horrible torture mages and Shendar - possessed and mutated - are subject to at the hands of Regalia.

• OOC Reason for applying:

Why do I even do these anymore like they were kind of funny at first but now it's just so forced. I don't overall know you too well, so I will go to your references. Your acceptance / denial will base on IC events and what is said to me, as it's likely your character alignment might not align with what you probably have to do.
To answer your question:
Yes, mages are happily accepted, even light mages (which tend to be weaponized or made into blood slaves due to their healing skill). However, they are more prone to being searched or accused if something collapses inside of the group based upon what they do. Physical fighters will have preference over mages.

REJECTED, but only due to IC reasons.
Although your application is interesting, your character the same and I heard many good things about you from my group, I believe you sadly applied with a character that's a bit too moral. I see Rydel more as a part of the soldiers against us, especially since he doesn't even trust the group he's signed up for. The poor guy would be a pink cloud or wouldn't go far in this massive set of rather sinful decision-making sewer scrubs. You may apply again in the future with a different character, or if I am convinced otherwise that Rydel has become more sinister through simple character progression.
