• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Hi, I recently got into art, begining of last year, and I just got into a substantial skill where I feel comfortable posting my art without making myself look like a complete idiot and tryhard. I will be posting here like once a week? If you are a close friend your character will most likely end up on this thread. So, to start, here's two drawings, one is my profile pic.

Here's a drawing of @hetalianpasta 's newest character and mine.
And here's a standalone art of my newest, and my profile pic.

a tip for getting those messy lines outta there:

try lowering the opacity of your lineart layer, then tracin over it in a different layer, usin longer strokes

after a while ur strokes will probably be smoother by default

good work on the rest of it btw!

Oh no I didn't post here in forever!!!!

Yeah I know when you look up at the paintings close you see white between the lines... I'm just too lazy to fix it...

It is severely messy I know, might clean it up later... Anywho here ya go! Finally a good depiction of Alvah.

I used it as proportional reference... I am a beginner, forgive me.
tracing and copying is good for developing a style, just remember to remind people you traced/copied for practise
that's the entire reason my art is /this/ now

yes yes it's totally cool to copy/trace art, but be sure to always always give cred to the artist!
I 100% agree. I use references in all my art. Tracing actually isn't the best method of learning as opposed to sketching what you see but when I first started I used Dragoart tutorials and I rented a ton of books from the school library. I now own quite a few manga books but my first was Christopher Hart. However, I really recommend Mark Crilley as he does more explanations and teaches some concepts of art in basics that I am learning currently.
The best thing is to credit the original artist or where you got it from. <3 keep on practicing!!
