• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I use krita for all my cpu based junk. I usually stick to brushes 2, 4, 6, and nine. I've been using 2 less and less, but it's also the only custom one, so that means the resta the boys are default.

I used to use 2 for lineart, now I prefer 4/6. I sometimes use nine for thicker lines, but I usually use it to lay down the base (or for flatter shading)

The sample on the right is the product of me screwing around a buncha times with the brush settings and accidentally saving it. It's actually my go-to colorchild and I love it alot. It's also pen based so it loads waaaay faster on larger sizes for some reason, so that's handy because almost everything I make ends up being 900x900.

I have no idea how to recreate it, but if you want I can show you the strats.

yeah I would totally recommend Krita. It's really light, but with a lotta features, plus it's free, and on steam.

also yeah I do commissions. They're p much free tho, so saying commission is a bit of a stretch. I've got three other dudes in line, but if it's something easy maybe I could edge you in rn (wink)

here's this wip I've got going as a re-warm up in between commission sessions.

this is a part of trainin kinda. with most of my other art I usually always toggle the opacity of the colors to get the desired effect, but here instead each color was chosen specifically for its purpose. it's really masochistic but it's kinda fun at the same time. also in the end game I plan to have used only one visible brush (i.e. no lineart!)
 
art is suffering, and this time because I lost the most precious child. it was a space doodle of the flambouyant lizard gal, and it was inarguably the best thing I have ever drawn. it's dead and my pc killed it. so I guess it's my responsibility as an artist to turn my suffering into art or whatever so here goes

@Caverly 's OC reminded me of this old duo I daydreamed up a looong time ago

their names are Gar(b/g?)l and Vase Face, and they're dimension hoppers who are drawn to terminal universes. they find each dimensions problem, and solve it to save everyone residing in it.

Gar(b/g?)l is the one on the right (obvi, lol). he wears sweaters, is addicted to gogurt, and is the best at checkers. he has a v crazy lisp

Vase Face is a rough and tumble gentleman who acts is both bad cop and moral anchor. he is moraly ambiguous at best

Dude yer OCs are so dope
Aaaha! Someone's noticing my OC, awesome. Aurein (das her name) travels around all the different dimensions and universes, she destroys all other versions of her. They're usually not even evil, she just kills them, to be stronger in her own reality.

Oh and her extra arm is useless, she was born like that, she'll get upset if you touch it-- don't even try.

that's so rad! do you think there's another version of herself runnin around trying to save all the other versions?
 
Your irradiated color experiment looks interesting... As does your other work. ( Your animation reminded me I need to play with photoshop settings to work on things though. BOOOO! HOW COULD YOU! )


It looks like you have a great eye for colors! :O I'm a bit jealous! Keep it up!

thhe pixel art app i have has this real neato feature that lets you pull palettes from an image in ur gallery, and i added a pic of an exploded mannequin head and i got this real fun one that im excited to use in krita

im using my nightime art cravin to find a style that's both comfortable and gucci so i dont have to spend friggin weeks crying over how bad these commissions are
