Background:
The grand and holy city of Regalia, finding its main city to be growing over-crowded began to expand even further along the Regalian Isle. Towns away from the main city began to crop up, though they were still under the rule of the Emperor. Distance, however, was cause for dissent as the less wealthy members of Regalia were forced to move away from the city to the outskirts. Within one such town, a small group of unruly citizens decided to form a mini rebellion to strike first at the heart of the town and then to travel to the Holy City itself. The one or two members of the Regalian Guard that had been stationed in this town caught wind as one by one strange occurrences, sightings, and deaths began to occur. Tensions began to rise as friends and neighbors began to point fingers at one another, accusations flying thick through the air. Citizens were afraid, the Rebels played this fear against itself, and some mad men took advantage seeking only to cause more havoc for their personal enjoyment. Chaos ensued as sharp tongues and fear made alliances unclear, trust falling through the cracks more swiftly than dust.
The Rebellion had begun.

Game Mechanics:
Nightfall:
- Nightfall is when most events occur, and when your personal roles can be played.
- I will open a private conversation with each individual to give them their role, and this private conversation is when they may tell me who they wish to use their role on.
- If you do not choose an action at nightfall, you will 'skip' your turn and do nothing that night.
- You may choose to write "A Will" containing your suspicions, actions, etc. This must be submitted to me during the night period in the PM conversation I have set up with you.
- Nightfall is a 24 hour period and will be announced at its start and end.
- The occurrences of the night before will be revealed: who died, their role, how they died, and what their will said.
- This is when discussion takes place on the Game Thread itself.
- This is also when you vote to lynch someone you think is guilty. In order for someone to be lynched, they must be a majority vote of more than 50%. So for someone to be lynched with 15 players alive, there needs to be at least 8 votes against that one person.
- In order to vote, you must state your vote IN BOLD on the Game Thread (not in PM. PM votes will be ignored).
- At the end of the Day Period, if someone had a majority vote, they will be lynched and their role and will shall be read.
- Daytime is a 24 hour period and will be announced at its start and end.
Stealing some from Mech's old witch hunt thread.
- There will be NO flaming whatsoever. This is for fun, that's it.
- Each player gets a single vote, which must be posted in Bold and go as follows: "I vote to lynch so-and-so."
- Withdrawals are bold and must be "I retract my vote on so-and-so1 and vote to lynch so-and-so2" or something similar.
- If you die, you can only make 1 post, and it CANNOT hold any new information - an example of an after-death post is "Good Luck Citizens!" or "The Rebellion Shall Live On!"
- No communication can occur outside the game thread unless stated otherwise by the host (me).
- You can make a role-claim (claim you have a power role) but you cannot back it up with proof from the host. This means that the enemy can claim to be good (after all, they're evil).
- You cannot edit a post that has been made.
- Have fun!
