Ioustinianos looked down at the mess of papers and bounded documents that occupied his desk, a single fine parchment, bound with the Volarys Imperial seal rested atop the sea of papers. He sighed, he'd expected something like this to happen eventually, but now? The timing was most inconvenient. He picked up the parchment, reading it over one last time.
