• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

To Begin:
Since I tend to remain introverted in the game and only sociable with members of my faction, I've come to believe it to be worth trying to introduce myself to the public in this method. I hope I can successfully reach out to people who may have had interest in knowing me better or to people who do but may have misconceived certain personal aspects.

The two years that I've been a member of the Massivecraft community have been the most unique compared to any which I've previously played on. I refuse to state whether this is positive or negative, but the most clear thing to me is that it feels as though I'm not playing Minecraft at all. Features, rules and social sectors throughout this server have created what could not have ever been expected by any incoming new player, and this achievement is worth my applause. However, personally, I'm limited in my acquaintanceship to only the Factions sector. Role play tends to make me uncomfortable since it's difficult for me to take on any characteristics or habits which are not my own in reality, and artificial behavior is not my strong suit. Those close to me understand this all too well in person.

Factions and Game Play:
In the Factions sector, I tend to apply my quiet behavior to my game play. I occupy most of my time with simple and singular tasks such as landscaping undeveloped areas of my faction's capital city so they are more viable sites for construction or resource projects as well as making myself available to individuals who are exploring factions or who are looking for one with specific opportunities that mine offers. Sometimes I recommend factions out of those which have previously associated with mine based on descriptions that they ask for which don't apply to mine. Ultimately, it's important to me to bring new players as well as role playing individuals who aren't acquainted with Factions into the specific sector of the server in order to produce more well-rounded players, despite my own hesitation to do the reverse for myself.

I design factions to be able to run themselves. I structure factions in relatively simple and predictable governments based on land distribution and land and member moderation and administration. Factions under my leadership strongly emphasize and enforce an environment in which individuals have the power to establish their own communities, secure their own material sources and also create their own themes and expectations for future members. The reason for this is factions as I described are created in order to encourage those who don't have the necessary skills or knowledge to lead their own factions successfully to try to establish or integrate into a community in a way which doesn't require such faculties. Only a handful of rules exist which apply to the entirety of any faction that I create. These rules are enforced to prevent any member of the faction from restricting another member's access to resources, their ability to reach specific areas of the faction or their opportunities to contribute to public causes or improve their personal experience. Any rules which fall outside those stated are only applicable to communities within the faction that establish them, and no rule can override those stated.

People who join factions under my leadership can expect very little instruction from appointed leaders concerning what they ought to do. The most responsible leaders will explain rules and provide tours, but after this process and when new members are given residence, they are left alone to explore and find their place. At first this bothers new members, because most of them ask me, "What should I do to help the faction?". This is a question very difficult for me to answer due to the paragraph before this one which explains the self-sufficiency of my factions. The question simply must be answered by the people who ask it for themselves. Sometimes I advise new members to reword this question to, "What should I do to help my city?" since I can respond to this question more easily.

On the world stage, my factions are quiet like me. I almost never communicate with outsiders unless I'm approached first, and I advise members to be the same way. My general expectation for anyone who joins factions under my leadership is to focus only on topics inside the faction and to not let outside issues concern them or take away their priority from their own tasks or goals. There was an individual a short while back who compared my current faction to a community college, since it's a place where people come and go and immerse themselves in communities inside the faction with the hope of pursuit of personal agendas without the inclusion of influence of leader goals.

This concludes all that I do in the game. I tend to find the most enjoyable thing to initiate and complete productive work, and I rarely come online to only hang out with people unless such people are close to me on an intimate level.

Personal Description:
As mentioned previously, I am a very serious, introverted, silent, reserved, and independent individual. My interests include writing, political and socioeconomic discussion, mathematical and scientific study of geopolitics, and philosophy. My present political focuses include the migrant crisis of Europe, the rise of and the global war on terrorism, monetary policies, and the future of national identities. My philosophical focuses include the positive and negative aspects of tolerance in applied circumstances and analysis of socialism on a moral and human platform.

Outside of these serious topics, I also enjoy certain hobbies:
1. Reading - My favorite book up to this point is The Time Machine by HG Wells. It describes the state of humanity as expected by HG Wells over 800000 years in the future along with the state of the Earth several hundred million years in the future. It does so with the perspective of someone who lived contemporary life during the midst of the late Industrial Revolution, where classified societies began to emerge by economy instead of law. Observations related to this are applied to theories concerning the environment in which the main character of book finds himself during the segment of the future in which he is able to interact with later humanity.

2. Track and field - I'm a sprinter who participates in races of 50, 60, 100, 200 and 400 meters, some including relay teams. Along with this comes weight lifting. I sprint not necessarily due to motivation of health or body, but because it provides me with a controlled realm in which I can be and am sociable with people, since in almost all other areas of my day, I am as far from sociable as others will let me be. It also gives me a method to release stress.

Things that make me happy:
A. Dark chocolate
B. Firm beds
C. Quiet companionship
D. Chinese and Vietnamese food
E. Pretty girls

Things that upset me:
A. Open car windows
B. Blind zeal
C. Caramel
D. Selective morality
E. Overuse of cheese

To Conclude:
On the surface I will often be very difficult to approach. This is the case in real life as well as in the game. First impressions are a skill that I need to improve, but formalities are mastered. However, I promise it will always be in my best interest to expose both the best and worst of you as a person to yourself and others, and this tends to happen in association with me. The reason this is in my best interest is because other people are a source of knowledge for me, and I'm always happy when someone has important things to share to help me improve myself as a person and enrich my life. I will do my best to return this gift to everyone that I befriend.

It's very nice to meet you all, and I'm open to any questions about me or things that you'd like to talk about. I promise to be honest too. Thanks for reading! :)
