• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

I've been wanting to start playing on here again for the first time in a couple years, so I jumped on, but I struggled to find more than a few people in Regalia, despite there being 150-ish people online. I was also surprised to find nobody in the tavern, which was the biggest roleplay hotspot when I was active. I'm probably just blind, but where are some areas where a lot of people roleplay?

At least in my experience, activity has really taken a nosedive since the server announcement. Once the new server is released I expect things will start to return to normal.

If there's no one in the tavern, try the Teahaus on main street which gets plenty of activity! Also there tend to be plenty of people in the Slum Emporium.

Yeah, things are incredibly dead at present, with guard charters being the only good source of RP imo. I'd love to see things more prevalent, but it goes hand in hand with player count. If there are no players, there is no RP. The server swap may work in streamlining MassiveCraft, but for now I would say wait for the prime time RP hours unless you have buddies to talk to.

This is the path that guarantees to show you about 60% of the rp population, which is still about 40 to 50 people on prime time

Thanks for the replies, everyone! I'll keep all this in mind, and I'll likely start a new character soon enough.
