• Inventory Split Incoming

    MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

    Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

    Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Some times it can be a bit difficult to figure out what an RP character's job is. I'm proposing that the staff add in a small tab in the character application asking what his/her job is.I think this could only help, and would add a bit more diversity to the app itself. Example:

Profession(s):

It's obvious what my job is.
I go round telling people to buy baked goods.
I like the idea though. Maybe add a similar thing under the forum profile too (may not be possible due to Xenforo)

Steak? Nononononono. Baked goods. Cake, pies, etc.

While it might be a simple enough thing for the common folk, there are those like our dear Tom who transition frequently or hold many positions at a time;

Is it not simply easy enough to ask what the person does for a living in character when you RP with them?

Duval Paloin - Banker(ish), but hes sick so he doesn't do much anymore...
Sarro Auber - Nomad, sells fish and sometimes guides people around the world.
Alibaha Malikamel - King/Sultan of Okyno
Marque Paloin - Future replacement for Duval, so also a Banker.

I'm not too keen on this. The profession of a character becomes bleedingly obvious in the app through life stories and such, and if not can easily be written in. This just seems unnecessary; arbitrary, even.
