- Vyara is a quiet and insightful woman with a vaguely gloomy air about her: a hardened commander from a distant land, blood of a bygone age.
- Vyara is a 5 foot and 10 inch tall sharp-bodied, angular Isldar with cropped black hair and bangs falling over her forehead. She has haunting, full purple eyes ringed with pitch-like shadow. Her right arm is a Gothitech prosthetic to the shoulder and onto her right chest, dark Leystone etched with glowing patterns, fingers tipped with claws.

- Positive Interactions
- I play Vyara as frosty and quiet, but I want her to show warmth and openness to those who try to break the ice of her exterior. Whenever I show reluctance to immediately go into detail about a topic in Roleplay, prodding and pushing will result in an improvement in relations.
- I like playing dignified and calm characters, so Vyara will bounce from characters that are overly hectic or random. Crassness is not entirely a deal-breaker, I'm fine with how a Character acts so long as they at least attempt to mirror Vyara's respectfulness back at her.
- I play Vyara as generally cold and unexpecting or undemanding of the world around her. I love having her in the difficult position of trying to repay a debt to a character that just does things for her, defends her, or guesses her desires and performs them for her without request, which is a good way to get close to her fast.
- I put a lot of time into Vyara's religious rhetoric, and like exploring it with other people. Getting into conversations about Dragon religion with her, no matter what your Character's position in or on it is, is fun for me. Her patron Dragon is Umbra, the Dragon of Death, which is always an interesting place to start asking questions.
- Nemesis Interactions
- I like portraying Vyara as suspicious, traumatized, and judgmental, making enemies sometimes unnecessarily because she makes the wrong guesses. I like her snippy reactions becoming self-fulfilling without someone better interceding. However, I don't like falling on the sword completely. I appreciate when she's at least a little justified.
- I play Vyara as a tortured angst machine with long pained dialogue confrontations. I find her toothless in slapping matches, which I don't find fun. I prefer to do nemesis interactions with Characters who will stand their ground and argue with her for a while instead of attacking her off the bat. CRP enmity in general is not super my thing. I can do it, but not as the main thing.
- I do not play Vyara as a very forgiving Character. I can do reconciliation stories, or 'redemption arcs' if you want my help to bring your Character onto the law side of Roleplay, but you need to meet me halfway so that I can contrive a reason for the Character to let go. I try to play her stiffly principled and without much give.
- Backstory Integration
- Vyara is part of the House of Thaelyr, a pretty big old blood Isldar prestigious family line that boasts of long-running Dragon Worship even in the Allorn days and history in the Cold March. The House has a large apparatus of staff and friends around its home city of Merrëna in southern Ellador, where it does patrician politics. If you want to be a Thaelyr or be from Merrëna, let me know.
- Vyara spent decades as an officer on the Isldar warfront with Dorkarth Vampires, eventually rising to the rank of Brigadier (in command of 3,000) of the 15th Brigade. I gave her a bit of a reputation from repeated brutal ambush commanding and being a callous unblinking freak in officer table interactions, but an okay commander on the whole. If you want to have been one of her soldiers, let me know.
- Interaction Best Practice
- I have a pretty strong phobia of mind control related content and impersonation/loss or theft of identity related content. I try to be pretty open to most things but if at all possible I like to avoid those two topics. Anything else you think is dubious can be established by asking me OOC in DMs beforehand if you are unsure about part of it.
