I found an amazing thing on MentalFloss going over some old Victorian Era slang and I knew I needed to share this here.
http://mentalfloss.com/article/53529/56-delightful-victorian-slang-terms-you-should-be-using
Here are a few of my personal favorite picks that might be usable in Roleplay:
BACK SLANG IT
Thieves used this term to indicate that they wanted "to go out the back way."
BRICKY
Brave or fearless. "Adroit after the manner of a brick," Forrester writes, "said even of the other sex, 'What a bricky girl she is.'"
CHURCH-BELL
A talkative woman.
HALF-RATS
Partially intoxicated.
MEATER
A street term meaning coward.
POKED UP
Embarrassed.
TAKE THE EGG
To win.
Those were just a few examples, If anyone knows other Victorian Slang that might be fun for roleplay, feel free to pop them bellow. I really want to get into the habit of using a few of these lol
