• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

Although I am in full support of the upcoming magic plugin, I had the constant nagging feeling that it could hold the potential to rip apart the very structure of the server if used in the correctly improper way.

When I was thinking about the various drawbacks of the magic plugin, the time section seems to be the most concerning. If you were to manipulate time in almost any way, then you could accelerate the time process on your opponents weaponry. Other uses would to increase, or prolonging the process of the amount of time given on a potion of speed II, making it last an hour.
The other thing is that the wind section, you could summon a constant updraft beneath you, making you hover at the same altitude above the terrain, say, 10 blocks. I am aware that your character will get tired of using it for too long, but if the magic plugin was to have the same skill format as mcmmo, I would not be surprised if people will rank up by 100 levels in one day.

I totally voted for all 3 options...

Magic, like any stat, can make someone OP when used properly. Axes, Swords, Unarmed, all of these have their advantages and can be used to utterly ruin an enemy if used properly. Why not magic too?

You do not know the functions nor spells of the magic plug-in so Im not sure what you're speaking of. You act as if those are spells for the plug-in that will be possible yet you know not what the plug-in pertains. I think you should hold off your concerns until an official list of the plug-ins specifics is released, and should just trust that Cayorian and the staff know what they're doing and will not create anything as overpowered as this.
