Hey, this is my first time doing an mmorpg server and I look forward to it!
But I wanna know everything about the role play part, and how it works and all. I know the forums has a help guide but i want something in-depth that tells me everything so when i join the server with my friend. I can help and lead her the way. So we won't get stuck or we spend an hour on /shop. It'd be greatly appreciated if someone does this and this forum unlike any other forum is a an active one!
I hope to meet all of you and be accepted in this community.
Also if anyone wants to give me pointers on which team/faction/guild to join and some tips please do so!

He's right. They're factions. You're free to choose the fac of your choice, provided they'll have you. Unless you're into the PvP scene, join a peaceful and/or RP faction, like Aquataine. (IDK if Brightshore is PvP or not)
