Ulster Boxing School
Overview
The Ulster Boxing School, or Bokseskolen in Tunge, was founded in Regalia in 305 AC by Torhilde Ulster, a master of her own bastardized form of Orcish Boxing. The founder's goal in mind with the establishment of this school is to establish her own subschool of Orcish Boxing as a distinct form from the original.
All races who are physically able to learn the art of Orcish Boxing are welcome to attend the school, provided they are able to pay the fee or bypass said fee by impressing the teachers or the founder herself. Preference will be shown to people who have pre-existing bulk and strength over those who need to build up themselves.
Small fees are charged bimonthly for using the boxing ring or the private gym on the second floor, however most fees are voided for members of any Mark who have the time to dedicate themselves to listen and learn at the school. A specific, minute fee is charged for soldiers or sailors of the various Marks of the Empire for school maintenance.
Those who wish to attend the school can choose two different sort of 'plans'. The casual plan involves the basics of the fighting style, and the student will be able to achieve some level of skill with this plan. The intensive plan is exactly what it is: a year long (or more for those interested in honing their skill) program of exercise and sparring from morning until dusk.
For all those interested in the Bokseskolen, either find any teacher of the school for inquiries or pen a letter to said teachers, and they will arrange an appropriate date or time for a one on one meeting. The school is located at Tavern Road, building number one, nearby the tavern entrance. To become a teacher, contact Torhilde Ulster via letter or physical meeting for an interview.
