The Stygian Bellicose was founded to create a professional environment dedicated to pit fighting.
While pit fights are common, the Stygian Bellicose operates in a way to provide meaningful careers and reputational opportunities for any within its ranks. Because it welcomes all fighters, from mages, to nobles and everything in-between, it operates down in the sewers beneath the city, and serves as a place for citizens of all classes to enjoy.
-To create and encourage professional fighting careers for citizens of all classes and rights.
-To create a safe place for people of all classes and rights to watch and enjoy professional pit fighting.
-To provide a new means for sewer citizens to make money and live good lives.
-To host professional tournaments for fighters of all types.
-To become the top name in career fighting within Regalia.
Rules:
- During scheduled fights hosted by the Stygian Bellicose, observers will be prohibited from attacking others there to watch the fights. All are meant to be able to come and watch in safety.
- Fights to the death are forbidden unless specifically arranged by the Stygian Bellicose. All other fights are determined by who yields first or passes out.
- When we say all are welcome, that includes void individuals, vampires, werebeasts, Kathar, etc. Those who try to discriminate while under the supervision of the Bellicose will be kicked out.
- The crowd is allowed and encouraged to place bets, which will likewise be hosted by the Bellicose. Ten percent of the betting pot will go towards the reward of the winner.
- All fighters will pay a twenty regal entry fee, which will yield a forty regal reward per fight.
- If you want to fight a specific pit fighter within the Bellicose, you need only put in a written request for the fighter, and the type of fight you wish to have, be it yield or to the death, etc. It will be reviewed and approved based on the decision of the pit fighter requested. Official members of the Bellicose are within their right to deny a request for any reason.
Dates:
Fights will be hosted by the Stygian Bellicose every Monday and Friday from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm EST.
Tournaments will be hosted at choice.
When not being used by the Stygian Bellicose, the arena is free to use as anyone wishes and none of our rules will be enforced.
