Marie's P.O.V -

Outside of the Peirgarten Estate, Marie Peirgarten sat in front of the statue laying in the middle of the garden, beside her were two books, rather short books. One being about Regalia's poetry, and the other about alchemia history.

Through the calm whistles of wind brushing against a variety of objects, Marie suddenly felt a wave of random contractions, thus leading to her first stage of pregnancy, rupturing her water sac. At first, this left her in confusion but in swift time, she'd come to her senses and realise that it was time.

" Courier! Inform my husband of the pregnancy! " the Peirgarten shouted out, towards a nearby Nelfin courier, resting just at the door, waiting like a predator to sprint.

But besides that, the Nelfin jumped out of his eternal gaze and rushed out to Maxence's office.

Maxence's P.O.V -

Brushing a hand through his beard, Maxence's eyebrows furrowed. Yet another desk full of paperwork needed to be filed and sorted through, Having just returned home from the most recent mission within the war, he was extremely stressed out. However he was trying to remain positive and hopeful.

Bringing a glass to his lips, he'd drink the honey tinted whiskey. It was a small mouthful but it warmed himself up, picking him up out of a foul mood. Sighing he gazed out of the window, his thoughts backtracking to Marie, smiling to himself he sat up straight and continued filing through the paperwork with a feather quill in hand.

A knock corrupted the silence of the room.

" Mm who is it?" Maxence called out to the door, swivelling around on his chair with a brow raised.

A small nelfin would poke their head around the corner of the door, a panicked look on their face, opening their mouth and closing it " Err. I er… She.. Er "

"Take a moment to collect yourself, then speak small one." He responded, resting both palms in his lap.

" Lady Peirgarten, your lordship. Her water has broke. You are needed"

The mention of Lady Peirgarten was all it took for him to rise up from his seat, grasping his jacket. Fishing out a couple of regals from his back pocket and tossing them over to the nelfin as he quickly rushed out of the room.

The couple were soon reunited as the blonde leutz-vixe nobleman ran into the bed chambers of the wedded couple. There before him was his beautiful wife, sat up in bed her hair falling down gracefully past her shoulders, with a private medic holding her hand and murmuring several things to her.

It was a long night, the pain and anguish through the hours of the night, until it reached early morn and there was a cry, not of a woman but of an infant. Their first child was born and rushed into the arms of the mother for skin on skin contact, until the medic took it away to be examined and checked over, a boy with a tuft of blonde hair.

Alas this was not the end, shortly after the waves of contraction continued and then another much softer cry was heard. An underweight little girl, baring just a few tufts of obsidian black curls. Due to her smaller size she was immediately taken to be looked over and be examined.

After the separation of mother and infants, they were soon reunited and Marie held her two beautiful babes to her chest. Placing a delicate kiss to each of their heads. Though be it a joyous time, Marie's health was not what was expected. Having bared the stress of birthing two children, she had extreme fatigue and blood loss.

But due to having medics on the scene as the birth commenced, they stabilized her blood loss and prescribed her with a weeks bed rest to gain her strength.

After the eventful sleepless night. The couple soon sat beside each other in bed with their newborns within their arms, Marie laid her head upon Maxence's shoulder and exhaled softly smiling up at him, pursing her lips before the couple spoke out loud the names of their children.

( This was co-written between me and @mochalattes )
  • Maxence and Marie Peirgarten have safely delivered their twins. Alarik Joseph Peirgarten and Cecilia Joa Peirgarten.
  • Names of the twins would only be known if you are immediate family.
  • Marie is on a weeks bed rest due to bad health after the birth.
  • Those who would hear of this would be family and close friends.
