There is a new business in town that is gathering steam! The Calemberger Philanthropist Foundation! They aim to support organizations such as
Lady Black's Almshouse and Refuge, the Regalian Safeguard Society, and the Crown City Sawbones! Thank you all for your Investments in these great organizations!
Food and Fare:
A group of people, noble in heart, will, November 4th-5th, supply warmth, food, comfort, and friendship to the needy and poor! Deeds like this should be done more often! We here at the Regal Gazette think those in charge of this event for all the work they are doing for the inhabitants of the city.
Of Nobles and men:
Lord Christopher Black made a proposal to the assembly about elevating of the Yanar, Nadina Haveen, to the position of an assembly member without a vote. The proposal met heavy rejection from house Ravenstad, to the point where they referenced "a pile of leaves sitting in the assembly". The motion received no support other than the Lord Black's.
A further proposal was made for the Sancella to have a similar seat. Proposed by the Consul Krupp, the original motion was a seat with five votes, though it was amended to no votes by the assembly. Members raised concerns about the Lord Krupp's sudden raising of this motion: conspiracy theorists claim that the Synod is keeping the consul cornered by threat of a writ of sin, and that is the only reason why he raised the motion in the first place.
On another note, Nathaniel Bigge and the Sir Edmund Howlester from the clutches of the Devout few, also compromised in their petty attempt to infiltrate the Woodenstaff ball
