• Inventory Split Incoming

MassiveCraft will be implementing an inventory split across game modes to improve fairness, balance, and player experience. Each game mode (Roleplay and Survival) will have its own dedicated inventory going forward. To help players prepare, we’ve opened a special storage system to safeguard important items during the transition. For full details, read the announcement here: Game Mode Inventory Split blog post.

Your current inventories, backpacks, and ender chest are in the shared Medieval inventory. When the new Roleplay inventory is created and assigned to the roleplay world(s) you will lose access to your currently stored items.

    Important Dates

    • April 1: Trunk storage opens.
    • May 25: Final day to submit items for storage.
    • June 1: Inventories are officially split.

Please make sure to submit any items you wish to preserve in the trunk storage or one of the roleplay worlds before the deadline. After the split, inventories will no longer carry over between game modes.

The Not So Romantic Type

"Why are we doing this again?"

"Because you need to fix your marriage and get back into working gear, Sera." A particularly tall Yanar replied, leaning against the counter in the kitchen.

"Plus it's been so long since you've done anything truly romantic for Catalina. We're just here to help." The short halfling Eroth chirped from where she sat on the edge of the kitchen table.

Seraphina sighed and crossed her scarred arms over her chest, glaring towards Nyth and then Seno in turn.

"And you two are going to help me cook?"

"Yes."

"Si."

"This is going to end terribly and one of us might die."

"But that's the fun part."

"Just keep me away from the fire please."

Nyth's tone was firm as the Yanar spoke. They moved out of the room and towards the foyer, calling over their shoulder, "Come on then, best we get to the market early so we can get the best of everything!"

Sera sighed heavily and covered her face with her hands, before dragging them down it. Turning her only eye towards her cousin, Seno, she frowned.

"This was your idea, wasn't it?"

"I have no idea what you're talking about." The halfling's expression said otherwise.

The Avanthar let out a very audible groan and allowed her cousin to drag her out of her home. The duo followed quickly behind the leading Yanar.

Off to the market, the trio went in hopes to find the perfect ingredients for a perfect and very romantic dinner.

Seraphina frowned slightly as she tapped her pencil against the parchment she leaned over. The Avanthar huffed and dropped the writing utensil down and crumbled up the paper, dropping it into the pile in the wastebasket that had already formed. A few stray paper balls lay strewn across the study floor, clearly having missed the target of the wastebasket.

"I'm never going to be able to write this as I want to. Spirit help me." She laid her head down upon her desk, staring at the small stack of blank papers beside her. Absently, she thumbed down the side of them, clearly attempting to think of the proper words she wished to write.

Groaning again, it seemed she was doing quite a bit of that this day, Sera raised her head and leaned back in her chair. Closing her eyes, the Avanthar clasped her hands together and squeezed them tightly, thinking.

The sounds of pots and pans from below caused her to open her eyes and promptly rise.

"I swear to the Spirit if you all are making a mess of my kitchen I'm going to throttle the both of ya." She barked as she strolled down the stairs and into the kitchen where Nyth and Seno were making or rather attempting to make dinner for that evening.

Nyth stood in front of the cutting board, wielding a rather large kitchen knife and would glance over as they cut into the onions.

"Relax, we haven't ruined anything."

"Not yet at least." Seno chimed in from where she stood, keeping a close eye on the cooking meat. She held firmly to what appeared to be some sort of spatula.

The Avanthar stood in the doorway, crossing her arms and puffing out her chest a tad, an annoyed look crossing her scarred visage.

"Please don't burn down my kitchen."

"We're not stupid."

"I make no promises."

She gave the two a glare each before turning and stalking out of the kitchen, a soft grumble escaping her as she went back upstairs for another attempt at what she had been writing.

The afternoon turned into evening and thankfully, the house filled with smells of a delicious dinner and an even more delicious smelling dessert that would follow such a dinner.

Seraphina tapped her foot impatiently on the floor, her singular eye trained upon the front door as she awaited her wife's arrival back at home. She chewed absently upon her lip and glanced slightly toward Nyth who gave the Avanthar a reassuring, albeit small, smile.

She opened her mouth to speak and then promptly closed it as the doorknob shifted and the door was opened.

"I haven't done anything wrong I promise."

"I doubt that, just a bit, mi dulce."

Seno, with Catalina in tow, entered the house, beaming with clear pleasure. Catalina, however, was just a tad confused and even more so tired looking.

The Altalar's eyes turned from her cousin in law to her spouse, her cheeks coloring slightly as she took in the other's garb, which was that of spring robes in deep purple and red. An outfit she herself had designed for her wife.

Sera offered Catalina a toothy grin as she adjusted her posture, allowing her arms to fall from their position of being crossed over her chest.

"Hola hermosa."

"Hello Sera. What's all this then, hm?" Catalina asked, tilting her head as she stepped forward and took hold of the hand that her wife then offered to her.

"Just a little something I threw together. Now hush, come along and follow me."

Sera led Catalina into the dining room that was set up for what appeared to be a candlelight dinner just for the two of them.

Taking all of this in, Catalina looked curiously towards Sera who had moved to pull out a chair for her.

"Come and sit. It's just the two of us tonight. Ari's taking care of Alejandra. Tonight it's just us."

She smiled at her wife, waiting for her to take the offered seat and once she did so, Sera assisted her in pushing it in. Moving away from her, she took a seat across the table from her. The Avanthar's toothy grin never leaving her scarred face.

Dinner having been prepared by Seno and Nyth was promptly brought out by the pair before they escaped to the kitchen, at least the couple assumed as such.

The meal itself was a relaxed affair, Catalina leading most of the conversation with Sera inquiring to the varying costumers who came into the tailor shop her wife owned. As it drew to a close and dessert was to soon arrived, the Avanthar rose from her seat and moved around the table, dropping to her knee and taking one of her wife's smaller hands in both of own larger ones.

Catalina turned and gazed down into the scarred, yet smiling face that belonged to her wife. Unconsciously she raised her free hand and gently caressed her fingers over the scar that marred the Avanthar's face.

"Mi alma. I… I know things haven't exactly been the best between us as of late. And that's entirely my fault. Truly… I haven't… I haven't been myself and I'm going to rectify that. I'm going to be the woman you married. The woman you love…" Sera's voice was soft as she spoke, gazing up at her wife. The woman trailed off as she spoke the last word and then cleared her throat, beginning again. This time, her words were different; less of pleading and sorrow, but rather ones of adoration and love.

"Eyes of emerald, hair like gold. A fiery gaze in these eyes that I so adore. On a rainy afternoon, so many years ago, you looked into my eyes, then two. You saw something more. You saw past all the sins that I had committed and foresaw all the sins that I would commit. You saw the woman I once was and the woman I was to be. And taking all that in stride, you loved me. At that moment, you knew and yet I was clueless. I was clueless to the fact that the simple sight of you could leave me breathless and tongue-tied. I… I've caused you so much pain with all my errors and faults. I hurt you. But… You forgave me. You always forgave me." This time her voice was strong and firm, her head tilted upward and her single sapphire eye gazing into that of Catalina's emerald eyes that had grown teary with each sentence that left her mouth.

"Oh Seraphina…"

"Even after all the wrongs I've done… I have only ever loved you, Catalina. It's always been you. You are my saving grace. My literal soul."

Catalina sniffled slightly and cupped her wife's face, pulling her close and pressing her forehead against the other's.

"I love you, I love you, I love you…" She whispered over and over again.

Throughout this quite heartfelt scene, Nyth and Seno watched on from just behind the doorframe, bright grins upon their features.

Seno and Nyth weren't the best at playing Cupid as they say, but one could give them credit for knowing how to fix the mess that was Seraphina and putting her back on track. Or at least put her back into the arms of the woman who knew exactly how to put her back on track.
